Updating an earlier report, Tennessee Titans WR Andre Johnson signed a two-year deal Friday, July 29. Financial terms weren't disclosed. The Indianapolis Colts owed Johnson $2.5 million this season, but with an offset, the Titans will absorb some of that.
Fantasy Tip: Johnson could be an asset in PPR leagues, but his decline was very evident last year. He's a very meager WR5 in fantasy.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson could still make an impact in PPR leagues, but he's a very meager option as a WR5.

Fantasy Tip: This would make for an interesting move by the Titans if it does come to fruition. Johnson would provide a veteran presence, but he would also steal targets from Dorial Green-Beckham, Rishard Matthews, Kendall Wright and Delanie Walker, among others. A crowded receiving corps could be even more crowded, and Johnson should not be viewed as more than a WR4 to WR5 if he does join Tennessee, especially coming off a disappointing stint with the Indianapolis Colts.

Fantasy Tip: Sharpe's role is still somewhat hazy despite his impressive offseason. He'll be competing for targets with Dorial Green-Beckham, Rishard Matthews, Kendall Wright and Delanie Walker. That being said, it's safer to take him in later rounds of standard drafts.

Fantasy Tip: Douglas was a better fantasy option in his days with the Atlanta Falcons. The fact that he may not make the team is telling as to his fantasy value. He can probably be avoided even if he does make the final roster, since he'll be Tennessee's WR5 at best.

Fantasy Tip: DGB has high expectations in his second season in the NFL. If he meets them, he could finish as the Titans' top wide receiver in WR3 territory. Delanie Walker, Rishard Matthews and Kendall Wright could hinder his full potential, though.

Fantasy Tip: Mariota should play better in his second season as the Titans quarterback, but he will need to keep the ball when he is running. Mariota will have several weapons to work with in the passing game and likely will be a low-end No. 1 or a No. 2 quarterback in most fantasy leagues.

Fantasy Tip: He'll have talent behind him with Derrick Henry, Antonio Andrews and Bishop Sankey. However, everything that we're hearing is that Murray will be the downfield runner utilized like he was in his breakout 2014 season. That season's heavy usage and his shaky history before that leave questions that peg him into the high-end RB2 mix. Henry could be used in short-yardage situations, and he's an RB5 flyer. The other two are fringe RB5 options.

Fantasy Tip: Hunter's physical gifts have yet to translate into consistent production on the field. Assuming he makes the roster, he still needs to show he can provide useful numbers before he is worth owning.

Fantasy Tip: At best, Wright is a late-round flier in PPR formats, but it looks like his value is headed in the wrong direction.

Tennessee Titans WR Tre McBride said he is more comfortable this season because he knows what to expect after playing in his rookie season. "I'm a lot more comfortable," McBride said. "I'm a lot more comfortable in my skin and I'm a lot more comfortable with how to be in the NFL and I think that is translating pretty well. I am able to play a little faster and feel good about it." McBride is expected to compete for a roster spot during training camp.

Tennessee Titans RB Derrick Henry will be a good player for the Titans, but he will have to adjust to playing in the NFL, according to running backs coach Sylvester Croom. "He's going to be a good football player," Croom said. "He's just going to have to learn, but everybody does. When I was a rookie coach, a first-year coach, I had to learn. You have to learn what working in the NFL is like, because it is totally different than college."
Fantasy Tip: Henry will not be the starting running back for the Titans but should receive some carries during games. Owners should consider Henry a No. 3 running back in drafts, but he should have more value in keeper leagues.
