Fantasy Tip: Mariota finished the preseason 21-of-30 for 326 yards and a passing rating of 102.9. He will likely find life a little harder in the regular season in his rookie year, and he should be drafted a mid-range QB2.

Fantasy Tip: He's not expected to play much. Mariota has been solid this preseason, but growing pains are expected. He's a mid-to-low QB2.

Tennessee Titans NT Sammie Hill (knee) had surgery Wednesday, Sept. 2, to clean out his knee and fix a medial collateral ligament injury, according to a source. He will miss three regular season games and is expected to return after the team's bye.

The Tennessee Titans are hopeful to use WR Dorial Green-Beckham in the red zone catching frequent scoring passes from fellow rookie QB Marcus Mariota. Green has managed just five grabs for 72 yards in two preseason games with most of his targets on short routes.
Fantasy Tip: DGB has tremendous size, but he needs to be a downfield threat and red zone target for the team. FantasyScore owners might really love him at some point, perhaps as early as this season, but we saw this movie last year with Justin Hunter and despite his size he never materialized as a great vertical threat.

Tennessee Titans WR Justin Hunter's trial for misdemeanor charges in a July bar brawl has been set back to Sept. 15 in order for defense attorneys to come up with a key witness. Hunter is expected to play Thursday, Sept. 3, against the Minnesota Vikings.
Fantasy Tip: Off-field issues aside, Hunter has struggled in his first two years in the NFL. He's not a reliable fantasy option, but you could do worse than to draft him for some depth at wide receiver.

Fantasy Tip: Mariota likely would see limited time if he does play in the final preseason game. He was a bit inconsistent during the preseason but will enter the season as the starter. Mariota should be considered as a low-end No. 2 quarterback in most leagues this season.

Tennessee Titans WR Justin Hunter has two receptions on nine targets during the preseason, and last year, he had the third-worst success rate among receivers that played at least 25% of their team's snap, catching 28 of the 66 passes intended for him.
Fantasy Tip: Hunter's big-play ability remains intriguing, but he has shown no signs of becoming a reliable receiver for the Titans or fantasy owners. Consider him a late-round lottery ticket.

Tennessee Titans CB Jason McCourty (groin) hopes to be ready to play in Week 1 but will not rush back before he is healthy. He did not rule out the possibility of sitting out until after the team's Week 4 bye.

Tennessee Titans WR Dorial Green-Beckham (ankle) was dressed for the third preseason game Friday, Aug. 28, but did not see any playing time. Green-Beckham suffered the ankle injury during practice Wednesday, Aug. 26.
Fantasy Tip: Green-Beckham could see some playing time in the final preseason game if his ankle heals. He may not start this season but has a good chance to be a solid performer in the passing game. Green-Beckham could be late-round option in deeper leagues because of his potential.

Fantasy Tip: Cobb's status for the start of the regular season could be in question because of the injury. He likely will see limited carries initially but should have a chance to earn more carries as the season goes on. Cobb could be a late-round option in deeper leagues.

Fantasy Tip: McCluster projects to be the change-of-pace and third-down back for Tennessee, and in deep PPR formats, he owns sneaky value. The Titans should find themselves in passing situations a lot, and McCluster's competition in the Tennessee backfield isn't exactly a collection of world-beaters. FantasyScore players should take note of McCluster as a potential source of cap relief in favorable matchups, too. You'll want to aim higher than McCluster in the majority of standard leagues, though.
