Fantasy Tip: Martin's status for Week 8 will not be known until later in the week, so owners should keep an eye on the situation. Martin may be eased back into the lineup if he is active this week and would be a risky option. Jacquizz Rodgers would receive another start if Martin is ruled out and could be a No. 2 running back or a flex option for owners.

Fantasy Tip: If you drafted Martin, you don't have much choice but to wait it out. Jacquizz Rodgers is playing well in his place, and the team can afford to pump the brakes to avoid another re-injury. Rodgers is a solid RB3 if you own him.

Fantasy Tip: Shepard was the 'next man up', not Adam Humphries, with Vincent Jackson hitting the Reserve/Injured list this week. If you need a bye-week replacement in Week 8 against the Oakland Raiders, Shepard might not be a bad stream option in deeper leagues.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans posted eight receptions for 96 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the Week 7 game against the San Francisco 49ers. He was targeted 13 times, the only receiver in the game with double-digit targets.
Fantasy Tip: Evans just missed out on a 100-yard receiving bonus, and that's about the only thing fantasy owners can complain about. He has scored at least once in five of his six games this season, and has totaled six touchdowns while snagging at least five receptions in each outing. The WR1 faces another favorable matchup with the Oakland Raiders visiting in Week 8.

Fantasy Tip: Barber took advantage of the matchup against the league's worst-ranked rushing defense. Temper expectations going forward, as Barber and the Bucs won't face this kind of ultra-favorable matchup most weeks. Barber was seeing time behind Jacquizz Rodgers, and could be worth a look in deeper fantasy formats in Week 8 against the Oakland Raiders.

Fantasy Tip: Winston has three games with three or more touchdowns in six games this season, and he faces another favorable matchup against the Oakland Raiders in Week 8. If you need a bye-week replacement or your primary starter has a tough matchup, Winston is a solid fantasy option against the silver and black.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Jacquizz Rodgers carried 26 times for a career-high 154 yards in the Week 7 game against the San Francisco 49ers. He also had one reception for nine yards, and had 97 yards after contact, third-best in the NFL this season. "I've been waiting on this moment so my job is to take advantage of it," Rodgers said Sunday, Oct. 23.
Fantasy Tip: Rodgers filled in admirably with Doug Martin and Charles Sims on the shelf due to injury. He faced the league's worst-ranked rush defense, and he came up big. He has back-to-back 100-yard games after having never accomplished the feat in his first five NFL seasons. Rodgers is worth a look as an RB3 in all fantasy leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Rodgers had 30 carries in Week 6, and it sounds like Koetter is prepared to give him a big workload again. He is RB2 candidate in Week 7 against a porous San Francisco run defense.

Fantasy Tip: As injury-prone as any player in league, Shorts will see the field for the first time since Week 2 and take the place of Vincent Jackson (knee) opposite Mike Evans. The matchup is right this week, but Evans and Cameron Brate should be target hogs, while the Bucs could easily lean on Jacquizz Rodgers all day against the league's worst rush defense. In short, look elsewhere for a Week 7 sleeper.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers DT Gerald McCoy's (calf) snaps will be monitored during Week 7's game against the San Francisco 49ers, according to head coach Dirk Koetter. He was limited in practice throughout the week and is listed as questionable on the injury report. The Buccaneers are expected to have eight defensive linemen active for the game.
