Fantasy Tip: If Winston is drafted by the Buccaneers with the top pick, he is still a risky QB option in 2015. He should be considered a No. 2 QB option in 2015 if he wins the starting job for whoever drafts him.

Fantasy Tip: At this point, the Buccaneers are fully expected to draft Florida State QB Jameis Winston with the No. 1 overall pick. Jackson's fantasy value took a hit last season with the breakout of Mike Evans, but he could be better off with a new face at quarterback, especially since he only scored twice in 2014.

Fantasy Tip: Poor quarterback play and the emergence of Mike Evans took a toll on Jackson's production last year, but he still managed 1,002 receiving yards. His two touchdowns left a lot to be desired, but Jackson could still be a WR3 this season, especially if the Buccaneers address their quarterback issue with the No. 1 pick.

Florida State QB Jameis Winston could be top draft priority for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Rapoport said he hasn't talked to a single person who doesn't think Tampa Bay will take Winston with the first draft pick.
Fantasy Tip: There's still plenty of time for the Buccaneers to change their mind or for the winds of change to take over as far as rumors are concerned. If Winston is indeed drafted by Tampa Bay, he's still a risky starting fantasy option and should be considered a backup fantasy quarterback for the time being.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers DE Michael Johnson is due $7 million of fully guaranteed money this offseason. Johnson could be traded, but other teams may not want to pay up for the veteran defensive end. If the Bucs want to keep Johnson, they'll need to pay an additional $7 million on top of the $7 million already guaranteed.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers impending free-agent DE Da'Quan Bowers has been a bust since being drafted in 2011, and he was in danger of being cut last summer. The current regime in Tampa has nothing invested in his future.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers impending free-agent LB Mason Foster is not expected to be re-signed by the team, because his questionable coverage skills aren't a good fit for head coach Lovie Smith's Cover 2 scheme on defense. Foster seems to be a much better fit with the Atlanta Falcons.

Florida State QB Jameis Winston said he would like to play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and believes he has the trust of head coach Lovie Smith. "I think it would be a privilege to play in Tampa, period, with the Florida State fan base and everything I have been involved with in the state of Florida. Coach Smith speaking highly of me, that already lets me know I'm a part of their program," Winston said. "I already have a trust factor in with him, and now all I have to do is accept his trust and gain his trust to help him out."
Fantasy Tip: Winston looks like the top candidate to be selected first overall by the Buccaneers, but the draft is still three months away. Winston likely would compete with Mike Glennon for the starting job if he is picked by Tampa but would only be a No. 2 fantasy quarterback if he won the job.

Fantasy Tip: Winston appears to be the leading candidate to be the Buccaneers' top pick in the draft unless something happens during the meeting or while the team evaluates him. Winston likely would compete for the starting job if he joins the Buccaneers but would not be more than No. 2 fantasy quarterback next season.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Vincent Jackson will return in 2015, according to general manager Jason Licht. Licht said he will meet with Jackson's agent during the NFL Combine this week, and he will likely request to restructure Jackson's $9.77 million salary.
Fantasy Tip: Jackson is 32 with an uncertain situation at quarterback. His 70-1,002-2 season was his worst since 2010, and it's fair to assume he's on the decline. We're looking at him as a WR3 in fantasy.
