The coaches are holdovers from former head coach Steve Spagnuolo's staff and were retained by new head coach Jeff Fisher. Karney did not offer an explanation for his statements.

However, Fisher added that no one person will have final say on a player in the NFL Draft or free agency. If there isn't a consensus, the trio of Fisher, Snead and COO Kevin Demoff will decide what to do, including moving on to the next player they're considering.
