Fantasy Tip: Gurley seems to be recovering well from his torn anterior cruciate ligament. And it sounds like he passed the conditioning test with flying colors. He could be ahead of schedule at this point, but the Rams might limit him during training camp just to be safe. Assuming he's at full health by the time the regular season begins, he's expected to be the Rams' starting running back.

St. Louis Rams C Tim Barnes is slated to start at center ahead of Barrett Jones and Demetrius Rhaney, according to ESPN.com's Nick Wagoner. The caveat from Wagoner is that this could change before the preseason concludes.

Fantasy Tip: The key question here is how long will it take Gurley to get healthy enough to be a starting NFL running back? Only time will tell, but if might be a safe decision to draft Mason in a later round if you take Gurley in an earlier round. Neither should be viewed as more than a RB2.

Fantasy Tip: Gurley's draft stock doesn't change. He's a boom-or-bust RB3 that you should look for in the early middle rounds.

St. Louis Rams CB Janoris Jenkins could end up receiving a long-term deal over fellow CB Trumaine Johnson. Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com said the Rams would probably rather get a deal done with Jenkins right now as they are unlikely to sign both to a long-term deal.

St. Louis Rams CB E.J. Gaines has been competing with, and will compete with, Trumaine Johnson for the starting cornerback position opposite Janoris Jenkins. ESPN.com's Nick Wagoner believes Gaines will end up as the second starting cornerback.

St. Louis Rams LB Akeem Ayers and Jo-Lonn Dunbar will compete for the starting strongside linebacker job during training camp. Ayers is expected to be the leading candidate for the job because of his ability to rush the passer and play all three downs.

St. Louis Rams C Barrett Jones may enter training camp as the leading candidate for the starting center job but will have to compete with C Tim Barnes and C Demetrius Rhaney for the job during training camp.

St. Louis Rams WR Brian Quick (shoulder) is making good progress in his recovery from shoulder surgery and was able to participate in individual drills during offseason workouts. Quick may be able to participate in team drills at some point during training camp and could be ready for Week 1 if he does not suffer any setbacks.
Fantasy Tip: Quick probably will be eased in during training camp since he did not practice much during the offseason. Quick has a chance to start this season if he is healthy and could be a late-round option in fantasy leagues this season.

St. Louis Rams QB Nick Foles could receive a contract extension that would likely be in the range of a four-year deal with average of somewhere between $12 million and $14 million per season with about $20 million in guarantees.
Fantasy Tip: It remains to be seen how Foles performs outside of Chip Kelly's high-powered offense, but at the very least, he should be a solid QB2 in 2015.
