Fantasy Tip: Gurley's status for the start of training camp is uncertain at this point, so he should receive a better idea after meeting with Dr. Andrews. Gurley has a chance to be the starting running back if he is healthy this season and could be a middle-round option in fantasy drafts.

St. Louis Rams RB Todd Gurley (knee) is eyeing next month's training camp as a return to the field. "That is definitely a goal that I'm shooting for," Gurley told NFL Media's Tiffany Blackmon from the NFL Rookie Symposium Wednesday, June 24, "Just to be able to get out there and do at least some individual stuff. It's looking pretty realistic. This month I'll be in St. Louis rehabbing, so hopefully I can aim for (training camp)."
Fantasy Tip: This obviously isn't an official ruling on Gurley, but if he's able to take part in training camp it will do wonders for his fantasy value heading into the 2015 season. Gurley will still have to win the starting job away from Tre Mason, but Gurley was selected with the No. 10 pick in order to be the main guy in the Rams' backfield whenever possible.

St. Louis Rams WR Tavon Austin was impressive during the offseason workouts, according to offensive coordinator Frank Cignetti. "Tavon Austin's had a great offseason," Cignetti said. "It starts in the classroom. He's learning. He's paying attention. He's bringing it to the practice field. You just see it from his route running. What a difference. His effort, his attention to details. Every day out there, the guy's made plays."
Fantasy Tip: Austin is expected to become more involved in the offense this season. He had 31 catches for only 242 yards and zero touchdowns in 15 games in 2014. Austin could be an option in the late-rounds of drafts this season but will not be a weekly starting option.

St. Louis Rams RB Todd Gurley's (knee) timetable is still up in the air as he continues to rehabilitate from a torn anterior cruciate ligament, according to head coach Jeff Fisher. Fisher said Gurley has been doing well but could start the season on the Physically Unable to Perform list if necessary. Fisher added that if Gurley does not go on the PUP list, he could play sooner than people think.
Fantasy Tip: It's still too early to tell when Gurley will be available. Torn ACLs take a while to recover from, and Gurley is proving that. The Rams don't want to rush their first-round pick just to see him aggravate the injury. There is risky involved in drafting him, but Gurley is in low-end RB2 range.

Fantasy Tip: Gurley still has a good amount of time to recover, and he's been rehabilitating for a while now. The Rams could ease him into training camp and the preseason to see how his knee responds to real contact. If he's able to play full go and starts for the Rams, he can attain RB2 status in 2015.

Fantasy Tip: The Rams plan to pound the ball frequently, but there will still be plenty of room for Foles to post big numbers in the offense, too. FantasyScore owners will want to pick and choose their spots to use Foles against the strong NFC West.

St. Louis Rams DE Chris Long (ankle) has been encouraged by his progress during organized team activities (OTAs), and he feels like he is almost back to his old self after missing 10 games due to a unique ankle injury in 2014. Long said he is almost back to 100 percent healthy.
Fantasy Tip: Long enters the season ranked among the Top 25 among defensive linemen for fantasy owners in leagues which use individual defensive players (IDPs). If he can stay healthy he could return to elite status sooner rather than later.

Fantasy Tip: Gurley's status for the start of training camp is uncertain since he is still recovering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament. He probably will receive most of the carries when he is healthy and could be an option in the middle rounds of drafts.

Fantasy Tip: Austin has elite speed, but the Rams haven't figured out the best way to involve him in the offense just yet. Still, he has big-play potential, and he is worth gambling on when you fill out your bench during the later rounds of drafts.
