Fantasy Tip: Austin has been targeted frequently, and occasionally he finds the ball on his hands in rushing opportunities, too. The Rams understand they have a dynamic playmaker, and are trying to get him the ball more. For now, he is more of a WR4 in most fantasy leagues because the targets are nice, but he has a low conversion rate as far as catches are concerned. Until that improves, he is more of a depth fantasy player than a centerpiece.

Fantasy Tip: Until the Rams can make opponents pay for stacking the line, it is going to remain tough sledding for Gurley. He is still a must-start in standard formats, but look elsewhere in DFS games.

Los Angeles RB Todd Gurley has gotten off to a slow start, but head coach Jeff Fisher said Wednesday, Sept. 21, that he is confident Gurley will improve. "Yeah, he's outstanding. When the season is done, people are going to go, 'Wow'."
Fantasy Tip: Gurley has disappointed as a first-round pick in all fantasy formats so far, but there were still plenty of games to go. He remains a low-end RB1 heading into Week 3 against the Buccaneers, a team allowing 78.5 yards per game on the ground.

Los Angeles Rams WR Pharoh Cooper (shoulder) returned to the practice field Tuesday, Sept. 20, and could be active in Week 3. He was on track to be the team's slot receiver before getting hurt and might fill that role this Sunday.
Fantasy Tip: Los Angeles' offense has been abysmal thus far, but Cooper's return could provide another option in the passing game. Although he's not someone to plug in right away, Cooper could garner some attention in PPR formats.

Fantasy Tip: The volume is there, but Austin just hasn't gotten things going yet. The Rams as a whole have been stagnant on offense, which is a large part of Austin's early struggles. He has more value in return yardage leagues, but don't give up on him just yet. He faces a Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense that has yielded five touchdowns to wide receivers this year.

Los Angeles Rams QB Case Keenum will remain the starting quarterback as the team heads into its Week 3 road battle with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Rams are the only NFL team that has yet to score a touchdown, but head coach Jeff Fisher told reporters this week that a move to No. 1 overall pick Jared Goff will be "based on a lot of different things" and made "when he's ready".
Fantasy Tip: In a league where first-round picks are expected to start right away, Fisher's approach is somewhat refreshing; there is no reason to push Goff into the lineup when it is clear neither he nor his supporting cast is ready to challenge for a title. With that said, Keenum has no business being a regular starter in the league. Keenum is obviously a poor fantasy option, even in two-quarterback leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Keenum has yet to engineer a drive that led to a touchdown in two games, and he shouldn't be used in fantasy.
