Richard Childress Racing | Paul Menard wins NNS race

Sat, 14 Jun 2014 19:07:08 -0700

Richard Childress Racing driver Paul Menard won the NASCAR Nationwide Series Ollie's Bargain Outlet 250 at Michigan International Speedway Saturday, June 14. Menard led 18 laps, and won the only series race he's entered this season. It was the second Nationwide Series win of his career.

Fantasy Tip: Perhaps Menard can carry the momentum over into Sunday's big boy race in the Irish Hills, although he is still a risky fantasy play. In 15 career Sprint Cup Series starts in Michigan, Menard has a poor Average Finish of 20.3 with no wins, just two Top 5s and seven Top 20s with one DNF.
