Seattle Seahawks SS Kam Chancellor (knee) was banged up on the next to last play of practice Friday, Jan. 30, and had his left knee wrapped but didn't demonstrate a limp, according to Sports Illustrated's Peter King's practice report.

A Seattle Seahawks player intimated that many of the Seahawks are upset with the NFL's HGH random testing program. "We are being treated like criminals, tested like people on parole," the player said. The NFL's HGH random testing program selects six players each out of eight randomly selected teams per week in the offseason. Random testing for HGH isn't as frequent once training camp begins through the end of postseason.

"You know why I'm here," Lynch replied to all but one question. "It's a new song. Marshawn. You know why I'm here," Lynch said, when asked what song he'd listen to before the Super Bowl.

Sherman said if the baby were to be born on Sunday, Feb. 1, the day of the Super Bowl, he's not sure what he would do. "We'll cross that bridge when we get there. New York Jets WR Percy Harvin's trade from the Seattle Seahawks hasn't brought any regrets to the team, according to general manager John Schneider. "We kind of just got back to playing more basic: run the ball and hammer it out; [use the] read-option. Getting back to [playing] a little bit more up field instead of horizontal," Schneider said.
