Seattle Seahawks FS Earl Thomas (shoulder) said he won't miss the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots with a dislocated shoulder, but he also admitted that it won't be a normal game for him as he plays through the injury. Thomas is unsure if he'll need to have surgery this offseason for his injury. "My mindset is I have an opportunity to really trust my teammates," Thomas said. "This is the first game I'm going to have to trust them because of my injury. So I really, really, really trust my teammates, and that's what I'm banking on, my teammates doing what they need to do and I need to come through myself." He could remain limited in practices this week leading up to the Super Bowl.

New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski could cause a problem for the Seattle Seahawks during Super Bowl XLIX, because the Seahawks defense allowed 11 touchdowns to tight ends this season, which was third most in the NFL. Gronkowski led the Patriots in touchdown catches (12) during the regular season.
Fantasy Tip: Gronkowski has been a great fantasy option for owners this season and should be another good option even though he is facing a tough Seahawks defense. Gronkowski costs $7,777 (15.55% of the cap) on FantasyScore and should be worth the price for owners.

Fantasy Tip: Lynch is fine for next week and will play in the big game. He'll cost you $7,777 (15.55% of cap) at FantasyScore, where it would behoove you to mirror your competition and select Beast Mode for your daily rosters.

Seattle Seahawks FS Earl Thomas (shoulder) is listed as questionable for the Super Bowl against the New England Patriots. DE Michael Bennett (non-injury), OT Justin Britt (knee), LS Clint Gresham (neck), CB Richard Sherman (elbow) and OG J.R. Sweezy (ankle) are probable. Sweezy did not practice Friday, Jan. 23. Thomas was limited, while the others practiced in full.

Fantasy Tip: Beast Mode is being rested the week before the big game against the New England Patriots. At $7,777 (15.55% of cap), it's almost impossible not to throw Lynch into your FantasyScore lineups for the Super Bowl, especially given the volatility of New England's backfield this year.

Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch was fined $20,000 Thursday, Jan. 22, for an obscene gesture he made after scoring a touchdown in the NFC Championship game, according to an NFL official. He's also subject to a fine for not speaking to the media after the game, and the league is considering fining him significantly more than the $50,000 he has been previously fined for not speaking to reporters. An NFL official said there would be increasing fines if Lynch misses sessions during Super Bowl week, with each fine being more than the two $50,000 fines already imposed and the upcoming penalty.
Fantasy Tip: Looking ahead, Lynch ($7,777; 15.5% of your cap) will arguably be the best RB option on FantasyScore for the Super Bowl.

Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch is one of just seven NFL players in history that have rushed for more than 100 yards in five or more playoff games, joining Terrell Davis, Emmitt Smith, John Riggins, Thurman Thomas, Marcus Allen and Franco Harris. Lynch is averaging 94.3 yards in his last seven playoff games. He also leads the league in 100-yard games over the last four years with 24, one more than Houston Texans RB Arian Foster.
Fantasy Tip: It's almost impossible not to choose Lynch ($7,777, 15.55% of cap) for your FantasyScore rosters during the Super Bowl. Most of your competition is likely to run with Beast Mode, as well, during the big game.

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson has a base salary of $662,434 this season, which is 25th among starting NFL quarterbacks. However, he will negotiate a contract extension this offseason that will make him one of the highest paid players in the league. A multi-year deal for Wilson is expected to be above $20 million per year with more than $50 million guaranteed. He is already the first player in NFL history to reach two Super Bowls in his first three seasons.
Fantasy Tip: Wilson ($4,444, 8.89% of cap) will help you save significant dollars at the QB position at FantasyScore for the Super Bowl if you elect to refrain from using Tom Brady.
