Reed did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 30. Morgan was limited during practice, while Vannett and Prosise fully participated in practice. Seahawks | Tyler Lockett should play

Fri, 30 Sep 2016 15:26:02 -0700

Seattle Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 30, and is not on the injury report for Week 4.

Fantasy Tip: Lockett should receive some targets against the New York Jets this week but he will be entering the game with only seven receptions for 116 yards in the first three games. He could be a flex option for owners in deeper leagues, but most owners probably will be able to find better options.

Seahawks | Russell Wilson ready to play

Fri, 30 Sep 2016 15:21:31 -0700

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson (ankle, knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 30, and is not on the injury report for Week 4.

Fantasy Tip: Wilson be the starting quarterback this week, but his mobility may be limited during the game because of the injuries. He will be a risky No. 1 quarterback in fantasy leagues, and owners may want to bench him if they have a better option at the position.

Seahawks | Thomas Rawls ruled out for Week 4

Fri, 30 Sep 2016 13:55:59 -0700

Seattle Seahawks RB Thomas Rawls (leg) will miss his second consecutive game in Week 4 against the New York Jets.

Fantasy Tip: Rawls is likely out a month after he was diagnosed with a hairline fracture in his fibula last week, which makes it possible he could only miss two games since Seattle has a bye next week. However, that may be enough time for Christine Michael to apply a firm grasp on the lead-back role for the Seahawks. Michael should be treated as a high-end RB2 at worst for the time being, while Rawls needs to be treated as a fantasy reserve who may not get his starting job back.

Seahawks | Jimmy Graham listed as questionable

Fri, 30 Sep 2016 13:48:20 -0700

Seattle Seahawks TE Jimmy Graham (knee, back) has been listed as questionable for Week 4 against the New York Jets.

Fantasy Tip: Head coach Pete Carroll has yet to talk to the media about Friday's practice availability, but it is unlikely to contain great news for Graham after he had a setback in practice Thursday. The 29-year-old tight end is shaping up to be a game-time decision, making him something of a risky bet despite a somewhat favorable matchup. Until he can put multiple weeks together without showing up on the injury report, Graham needs to be considered a TE2.

Seahawks | Russell Wilson a full participant

Thu, 29 Sep 2016 17:58:38 -0700

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson (knee, ankle) was a full participant in practice Thursday, Sept. 29.

Fantasy Tip: Wilson is on track to play in Week 4, but the lingering injuries could limit his scrambling ability and overall effectiveness. If you have a quality backup with a friendly matchup, you may want to sit Wilson.

Seahawks | Tyler Lockett limited in practice

Thu, 29 Sep 2016 17:51:20 -0700

Seattle Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett (knee) was a limited participant in practice Thursday, Sept. 29.

Fantasy Tip: Lockett has big-play speed, and he will be a boom-or-bust WR3 if he suits up in Week 4.

Seahawks | Setback for Jimmy Graham

Thu, 29 Sep 2016 17:42:52 -0700

Seattle Seahawks TE Jimmy Graham (back, knee) did not practice Thursday, Sept. 29.

Fantasy Tip: Graham is a potential TE1 candidate if he suits up in Week 4, but have a backup plan in place in case his back injury doesn't improve.

Seahawks | Russell Wilson likely to be ready

Wed, 28 Sep 2016 22:55:02 -0700

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson (knee) is likely to be ready to play in the Week 4 game against the New York Jets. Head coach Pete Carroll said Wednesday, Sept. 28, that "(he) would be surprised" if Wilson wasn't on the field Sunday. "He's pretty determined to get this done," Carroll said.

Fantasy Tip: If Wilson has some kind of a setback, or this is just gamesmanship on the part of the Seahawks, rookie Trevone Boykin would get the starting nod. Wilson is a risky play since his health for the full game is not guaranteed, he is facing a decent defense and west-coast teams playing in early kickoffs rarely have rousing success.

Seahawks | C.J. Prosise to remain in cast for a while

Wed, 28 Sep 2016 20:47:15 -0700

Seattle Seahawks RB C.J. Prosise (wrist) is expected to remain in a cast for approximately three more weeks before he is able to play without the protection for his wrist.

Fantasy Tip: Prosise is expected to play with the injury, but he might be a bit limited. The team also added veteran C.J. Spiller to the mix Wednesday, so neither of those things bode well for Prosise's short-term fantasy appeal.

Seahawks | C.J. Spiller joins Seattle backfield

Wed, 28 Sep 2016 19:56:12 -0700

The Seattle Seahawks agreed to terms with free-agent RB C.J. Spiller (Saints) Wednesday, Sept. 28, according to a source. The deal is for one year.

Fantasy Tip: Spiller has plenty of speed in the open field, but Spiller has yet to reach his potential in previous stops in Buffalo and New Orleans. If he can stay healthy, he could emerge as a useful fantasy option in Seattle, but he isn't worth rostering just yet.

Seahawks | Russell Wilson practices in full

Wed, 28 Sep 2016 16:55:14 -0700

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson (ankle, knee) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Sept. 28.

Fantasy Tip: Wilson is on track to play in Week 4 but likely will be limited in terms of his running ability, which will hurt his fantasy value. Wilson can still be a starting option in some leagues, but owners with better options at the position could consider benching Wilson this week.
