Fantasy Tip: The extent of his injury and exact source is not immediately known, but Thomas Rawls ($4,000, 8.0% of cap) will continue to get a lion's share of the reps with Marshawn Lynch inactive.

Fantasy Tip: Owners will have to see what Lynch will be able to do during practice this week to see if he will be active for Week 5. Thomas Rawls ($4,000, 8.0% of cap) probably will receive a majority of the carries in Week 4 and should be a solid option for owners.

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson has the eighth-highest completion percentage among qualified quarterbacks at 70% entering the Week 4 game against the Detroit Lions Monday, Oct. 5, which is seven percentage points above his career average. Wilson has been throwing shorter on average than ever before, and his average pass distance has dropped from 9.1 yards in his rookie season in 2012 to just 6.4 this year. That ranks him 30th in the NFL. He has just eight off-target passes this year in 101 pass attempts, too, which is lowest in the league. Wilson's completion percentage on passes 10 yards or fewer from the line of scrimmage is up from 69% to 71% this year, but he is showing the most improvement on intermediate passes; he's tied with New England Patriots QB Tom Brady for the highest completion percentage on passes 11-20 yards in the air at 81%. Wilson has only tried six passes 20 yards or more downfield this year, which is tied for 30th in the league.
Fantasy Tip: The Seahawks continue to be more of a run-first team, even with Marshawn Lynch banged up to begin the year. Wilson's improvement in accuracy can be attributed to Seattle's lack of a true deep threat but also his maturity as a quarterback overall. He has become a legitimate No. 1 fantasy QB this year and will be a strong option on FantasyScore against a weak Lions secondary Monday night.

Seattle Seahawks RB Thomas Rawls is expected to see a bulk of the carries in the Week 4 game against the Detroit Lions Monday, Oct. 5, with RB Marshawn Lynch (hamstring) sidelined. RB Fred Jackson is also expected to rotate in.
Fantasy Tip: Rawls ($4,000, 8.0% of cap) is a solid late replacement for FantasyScore players, and Jackson ($2,100, 4.2% of cap) isn't a terribly low-cost play either.

Fantasy Tip: For the second consecutive week, Thomas Rawls ($4,000, 8.0% of cap) will be the No. 1 back for Seattle. He ran for 104 yards on 16 attempts during Week 3's game against the Chicago Bears and will be facing the 19th-best run defense in the NFL in Week 4. If you were banking on starting Lynch ($7,100, 14.2% of cap) against the Lions this week, use Rawls instead in FantasyScore. In traditional leagues, see if you can pick him up or swap him into your lineup.

Fantasy Tip: Lynch ($7,100, 14.2% of cap) could still end up playing, but with the game on Monday, he is too risky to use at FantasyScore in case he doesn't suit up or is limited in any fashion.

Seattle Seahawks CB Tharold Simon (toe) and FS Steven Terrell (hip) have been ruled out against the Detroit Lions in Week 4. DE Demarcus Dobbs (shoulder), DT Brandon Mebane (groin) and LB Kevin Pierre-Louis (hamstring) are listed as questionable, and DE Michael Bennett (non-injury), LB Bobby Wagner (ankle), LB K.J. Wright (hip), LB Mike Morgan (hamstring) and TE Luke Wilson (back) are listed as probable.

Fantasy Tip: Lynch ($7,100, 14.2% of cap) is not a lock to suit up against the Detroit Lions in Week 4, and with the game on Monday, it is best to avoid him at FantasyScore.

Seattle Seahawks CB Tharold Simon (toe), FS Steven Terrell (hip), DE Demarcus Dobbs (shoulder), DT Brandon Mebane (groin), LB Kevin Pierre-Louis (hamstring) and DE Michael Bennett (non-injury) did not practice Saturday, Oct. 3. LB Bobby Wagner (ankle), LB K.J. Wright (hip), LB Mike Morgan (hamstring) and TE Luke Willson (back) practiced in full.

Fantasy Tip: Lynch ($7,100, 14.2% of cap) is a risky play on FantasyScore because he plays the Detroit Lions Monday night with little wiggle room.
