Green Bay Packers impending free-agent CB Tramon Williams will be courted by the Seattle Seahawks in free agency. Seahawks general manager John Schneider helped sign Williams to Green Bay in 2006. A source close to Williams and his agent said that Seattle has made it clear they will go after him if he makes it to the open market. The Seahawks have little to no chance of re-signing CB Byron Maxwell. Williams' value on the market could be around $5 million per year.

Dallas Cowboys impending free-agent RB DeMarco Murray could be targeted by the Seattle Seahawks in free agency this offseason. Seattle could be in the market for a reliable running back if RB Marshawn Lynch opts to retire.
Fantasy Tip: Murray in Seattle is a scary possibility, but it remains an unlikely reality with Lynch expected to return in 2015. If this scenario does play out, though, Murray should once again be a top-tier RB1 worthy of drafting in the first round.

Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch said he wanted the ball on the goal line in the Super Bowl on the play that saw QB Russell Wilson throw the game-ending interception in the end zone. Lynch previously told reporters that he didn't mind and that it was a team game.
Fantasy Tip: Maybe he had a month to think it over? Why Lynch would talk to a Turkish TV station is another story, but given Lynch's rocky media history it makes sense. Lynch is a solid RB1 in all fantasy leagues if he does not retire.

Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch's agent, Doug Hendrickson, said Saturday, Feb. 21, that there is no deal finalized, but Jason La Canfora of CBSSports.com reports that an offer is in place that will result in a deal.
Fantasy Tip: Until Lynch has officially signed a new deal with the Seahawks, there is still a chance he could opt to retire. However, it sounds like he could be leaning towards coming back to Seattle in 2015.

Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch has a new deal in place that would pay him $12 million next season and $9 million in 2016, according to a league source. Jason La Canfora of CBSSports.com believes the deal will be formalized in the coming days.
Fantasy Tip: The Lynch potential retirement saga could be coming to an end. As long as he ultimately ends up back in Seattle, he should be considered a RB1 for fantasy purposes.

Updating previous reports, Seattle Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch was offered a multiyear deal that would pay him between $11-$12 million during the first year and $9 million during the second year. Lynch, who's entering the final season of his contract, could end up receiving a three-year offer, according to multiple league sources.
Fantasy Tip: It'll be difficult for Lynch to retire and leave that kind of money on the table when he's still on top of his game. He'll be in the conversation of the top-five running backs taken in 2015 drafts.

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said he has never considered a future that doesn't include RB Marshawn Lynch. "We're always preparing for the future with him," Carroll said Friday, Feb. 20, at the NFL Scouting Combine. "We've never thought of the future without him. Hopefully, it will work out."
Fantasy Tip: Although nothing is set in stone yet, it is starting to sound like Lynch could decide to put off retirement for at least another year. If he does return to the Seahawks, he should be treated as a No. 1 option at running back for fantasy purposes.

Seattle Seahawks TE Zach Miller (ankles) is making good progress after two ankle surgeries, according to head coach Pete Carroll.
