Seahawks | Oday Aboushi in line for start at RG

Wed, 20 Sep 2017 21:23:45 -0700

Seattle Seahawks OG Oday Aboushi could start at right guard in the team's Week 3 game Sunday, Sept. 24, as "hinted strongly" by offensive line coach Tom Cable, who also noted that Aboushi has played against the Tennessee Titans before.

Seahawks | Doug Baldwin gets day to rest

Wed, 20 Sep 2017 16:42:01 -0700

Seattle Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin (rest) was given the day off to rest at practice Wednesday, Sept. 20.

Fantasy Tip: Baldwin is off to a slow start, posting 10 grabs for 107 yards with no scores through two games. He obviously hasn't had that breakthrough game which made him an early-round fantasy pick. The Seattle offense has struggled through two games, but they'll get on track. No need to push the panic button on Baldwin just yet.

Seahawks | Seattle practice report for Wednesday

Wed, 20 Sep 2017 16:35:34 -0700

Seattle Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin (rest), LB Terence Garvin (shoulder), TE Jimmy Graham (ankle), OG Luke Joeckel (knee), DE Marcus Smith (illness), DB Neiko Thorpe (ankle) and LB Bobby Wagner (thigh) did not practice Wednesday, Sept. 20. CB Richard Sherman (hamstring) and WR Paul Richardson (finger) practiced in full.

Seahawks | Paul Richardson expected to be fine

Wed, 20 Sep 2017 16:24:44 -0700

Seattle Seahawks WR Paul Richardson (finger) is expected to be fine for Week 3 against the Tennessee Titans, head coach Pete Carroll said Wednesday, Sept. 20.

Fantasy Tip: Richardson suffered a dislocated finger in the Week 2 game against the San Francisco 49ers. He was able to return to the game and ended up with the game-winning touchdown grab, so it appears he'll be good to go in Week 3.

Seahawks | No practice for Jimmy Graham

Wed, 20 Sep 2017 13:17:28 -0700

Seattle Seahawks TE Jimmy Graham (ankle) was held out of practice Wednesday, Sept. 20, with a sprained ankle.

Fantasy Tip: Graham's status for Week 3 doesn't look promising. If he is able to play he will be a risky start. If he doesn't play then Luke Willson would make for a serviceable fill-in if there are no better options on your roster.

Seahawks | Jimmy Graham nursing sore ankle

Mon, 18 Sep 2017 10:03:20 -0700

Seattle Seahawks Jimmy Graham (ankle) came away from Week 2 with a sore ankle and it is "unclear" at the moment if he will play in Week 3 versus the Tennessee Titans.

Fantasy Tip: Graham appeared to injure his left knee in Week 2 after getting rolled up while blocking on a running play, but it is possible he came away from the play with more pain in his ankle instead. At any rate, the 30-year-old has had a rough start to the season, committing some bad drops and getting blasted by defenders on at least a couple of occasions. He'll most likely turn it around when Seattle gets its passing game on track, but he needs to sit in fantasy leagues for the time being.

Seahawks | Tyler Lockett bounces back

Sun, 17 Sep 2017 20:53:31 -0700

Seattle Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett finished with six catches for 64 yards in a 12-9 win over the San Francisco 49ers in Week 2.

Fantasy Tip: Lockett bounced back a bit after a one-catch performance in the opener, but the Seattle offense remains out of sync overall. Lockett is worth owning in most formats, but he would be a risky start in Week 3 against the Titans.

Seahawks | Chris Carson the lead back?

Sun, 17 Sep 2017 20:29:23 -0700

Seattle Seahawks RB Chris Carson finished with a team-high 20 carries for 93 yards and caught one pass for seven yards in a 12-9 win over the San Francisco 49ers in Week 2.

Fantasy Tip: Carson was given a chance to lead the backfield, and he performed well. If he is still available in your league, he should be one of the top waiver targets heading into Week 3.

Seahawks | Jimmy Graham to bounce back?

Sat, 16 Sep 2017 20:30:06 -0700

Seattle Seahawks TE Jimmy Graham didn't play the way the team expects him to play in Week 1, according to offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell, but Bevell said he doesn't expect it to happen again.

Fantasy Tip: Graham managed just three catches for eight yards in the opener, but on the plus side, he was targeted seven times. Continue to deploy him as a TE1 against San Francisco in Week 2.

Fri, 15 Sep 2017 18:29:54 -0700

Seahawks | Thomas Rawls practices in full

Fri, 15 Sep 2017 15:32:50 -0700

Seattle Seahawks RB Thomas Rawls (ankle) practiced in full again on Friday, Sept. 15, and was removed from the injury report before Week 2's game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Fantasy Tip: Rawls appears to be in line to play, joining Eddie Lacy, C.J. Prosise and rookie Chris Carson in a crowded backfield in Seattle. It's a tough situation for fantasy owners, and one to avoid until one player emerges as the clear-cut touch leader.

Fri, 15 Sep 2017 15:00:45 -0700

Garvin is listed as doubtful for Week 2 against the San Francisco 49ers, while Sherman is questionable. DB Shaquill Griffin (concussion), SS Delano Hill (shoulder), RB Thomas Rawls (ankle) practice in full, while LB Michael Wilhoite (calf) and LB K.J. Wright (ankle) were each limited in practice.
