Fantasy Tip: Smith has been an all-or-nothing fantasy play throughout his career, and he simply isn't worth owning when he isn't connecting on big plays.

Fantasy Tip: Smith has been held to 26 yards or under in the las four games but did catch a touchdown in the last game. Owners in most leagues can pass on Smith and look for other options.

Fantasy Tip: Patton enjoyed some degree of fantasy relevancy with Colin Kaepernick as the quarterback a few weeks ago, but his role has been minimized lately. He belongs on the waiver wire in most leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Smith is suffering through the worst year of his career, and he doesn't need to be owned, let alone starting, in any format.

Fantasy Tip: Smith was able to catch a touchdown in Week 12 but has not posted more than 26 yards in any of his last four games. He should see limited targets in Week 13 and should not be a starting option in most leagues.

Fantasy Tip: McDonald is doing well, as he is ranked second in yards per catch behind Rob Gronkowski. Still, unless QB Colin Kaepernick continues to improve, McDonald could be in a dead end for this season. He may be worth holding onto in keeper or dynasty leagues.

San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick is averaging 62.2 yards per game on the ground. In total, Kaepernick has 373 rushing yards on 46 attempts, including one touchdown. "He's out there, he's in control and when he sees an opportunity he's taken advantage of it," offensive coordinator Curtis Modkins said. In addition to his rushing success, Kaepernick is averaging 277.5 yards per game through the air with eight touchdowns and just two interceptions.
Fantasy Tip: Kaepernick has been one of the most pleasant surprises in the fantasy realm after taking over as the 49ers' starter. His running ability gives him a distinct advantage over pocket passers from a fantasy perspective and he should no longer be overlooked. In fact, he should be started this week in a favorable matchup against an ailing Chicago Bears defense.

Fantasy Tip: He has completed 59.3 percent of his passes during the stretch, which is exactly his career average. Kaep isn't a surefire starting option in fantasy, but he's chucking it well right now. He has a so-so matchup against the Chicago Bears in Week 13, but he's someone to think about for a lower price in DFS.

Fantasy Tip: Draughn has PPR appeal as a flex spot for gamers in deep leagues. The matchup largely dictates his role, as he didn't even see a carry in this game. Look to flex him when San Fran faces a capable offense.

Fantasy Tip: Smith has virtually no fantasy value at this point, and starting him in any traditional format is asking for it. Consider anything positive from him as gravy.
