Fantasy Tip: It's a great sign that Floyd ($2,500, 5.0% of cap) is practicing this early, and he should be ready to play Monday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers unless he suffers a setback. Floyd has two catches or less in three of four games this year, though, and is too streaky of a player to rely on at FantasyScore.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson ($4,500, 9.0% of cap) has an extra day to recover with the Chargers playing the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday night in Week 5. However, it's not looking good so far. Keenan Allen ($7,000, 14.0% of cap) and Antonio Gates ($5,400, 10.8% of cap), who is making his season debut after a suspension, will be fine pick on FantasyScore, especially if Johnson doesn't play.

Fantasy Tip: Floyd ($2,500, 5.0% of cap) suffered the concussion during the Week 4 game, but it looks like he has a chance to play in Week 5 because he is able to practice. Floyd has posted some solid numbers this season and could be a solid starting option for fantasy owners.

Fantasy Tip: Gates ($5,400, 10.8% of cap) returns at the perfect time for the Bolts, with both Malcom Floyd and Stevie Johnson hurting. Also, he's facing the Pittsburgh Steelers Monday night, and they've allowed 17.2 fantasy points per game and four touchdowns to tight ends so far. Gates will likely be a popular pick in daily games immediately in his season debut.

Fantasy Tip: Gates ($5,400, 10.8% of cap) will be playing in his first game of the season in Week 5, but he has struggled versus Pittsburgh. It might be best to wait a week to see how Gates is used and if he looks rusty or not.
Tue, 06 Oct 2015 16:20:34 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Rivers ($7,400, 14.8% of cap) has been great so far for his fantasy owners and will be getting another top weapon back in Antonio Gates in Week 5. However, he could be losing Malcom Floyd and Stevie Johnson this weekend. Regardless, the return of Gates is a big plus, and Rivers should be a fine target for FantasyScore gamers against a vulnerable Pittsburgh defense on Monday night.

San Diego Chargers TE Ladarius Green has played well early in the season and should continue to have a role in the offense even though TE Antonio Gates is returning from his suspension, according to QB Philip Rivers.
Fantasy Tip: Green could still see some targets during games, but his fantasy value will take a big hit with Gates back in the lineup. Owners should consider Gates as a starting option, but Green is not a great choice now that he is a backup.

Fantasy Tip: Gates missed the first four games because of a suspension but should fit right into the offense in Week 5. Gates should be a starting option against the Steelers this week but may start off a little slow since he has not played.
Mon, 05 Oct 2015 07:05:08 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Gates ($5,300, 10.6% of cap) faces the Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday night and will be a midrange consideration on FantasyScore.
Sun, 04 Oct 2015 19:26:40 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Gordon ($5,600, 11.2% of cap) has yet to have a true breakout game, and fellow back Danny Woodhead ($5,200, 10.4% of cap) has carved out a steady role, especially on passing downs. Gordon has big-play speed, but he is a roll-of-the-dice play at FantasyScore right now.
Sun, 04 Oct 2015 19:01:34 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Rivers ($7,400, 14.8% of cap) has thrown multiple touchdowns in three of the four games this year, and with the San Diego ground game not exactly dominating, Rivers should continue to throw the ball plenty.

Updating a previous report, San Diego Chargers WR Stevie Johnson (hamstring) suffered a left hamstring injury in the Week 3 game against the Cleveland Browns. He is having the leg wrapped on the sidelined.
Fantasy Tip: It appears Johnson is likely done for the day, leaving just Keenan Allen and Dontrelle Inman as the only healthy wideouts left for the Bolts.
