Fantasy Tip: This is encouraging news for both, as it means each wide-out is on track to suit up in Sunday's divisional clash with the Broncos. At the same time, it also figures to be a difficult matchup, as Denver has one of the true elite defenses in all of football. When these two teams met a few weeks ago on Thursday Night Football, both Benjamin (three catches, 17 yards) and Williams (three catches, 28 yards) produced season lows in receiving yards.

Fantasy Tip: Henry will need to be cleared by an independent doctor before he is allowed to play, so owners should keep an eye on the situation. Henry has played well this season and should be considered a No. 1 tight end if he plays.

Updating a previous report, San Diego Chargers WR Travis Benjamin (knee) was listed on the injury report for practice Wednesday, Oct. 26, due to a knee injury, but beat writer Michael Gehlken said it appears Benjamin was just being rested.
Fantasy Tip: The Broncos have the league's top ranked pass defense allowing just 175.0 yards per game with four touchdowns through seven games, so even if Benjamin can play he isn't a recommended fantasy option in most formats.

Updating a previous report, San Diego Chargers WR Tyrell Williams (knee) was listed with a knee injury after missing practice Wednesday, Oct. 26, but beat writer Michael Gehlken said it appeared Williams was simply being rested.
Fantasy Tip: Williams is the top receiver for fantasy purposes in the San Diego arsenal, but he is facing the league's No. 1 pass defense in Denver in Week 8. Williams should be targeted as a WR4 only in deeper formats.

Updating a previous report, San Diego Chargers TE Hunter Henry (concussion) was on the practice field Wednesday, Oct. 26, and head coach Mike McCoy said he is "hopeful" Henry will be able to play in Week 8 against the Denver Broncos.
Fantasy Tip: Henry set single-game career highs with eight receptions for 83 yards with a touchdown in Week 6 against the Broncos, but he was limited to 47 snaps last week. Even if he can play he is a risky fantasy pick with Antonio Gates also active while playing a difficult game on the road.

San Diego Chargers LB Jeremiah Attaochu (ankle) is making progress in his rehab from an ankle injury, but it is too early to say if he will be able to play in Week 8 against the Denver Broncos or if he'll need to miss his second straight game.

San Diego Chargers LB Jeremiah Attaochu (ankle) and CB Craig Mager (concussion) did not practice Wednesday, Oct. 26. SS Jahleel Addae (collarbone) and LB Denzel Perryman (shoulder, foot) were limited, while CB Brandon Flowers (concussion) and LB Joshua Perry (knee) participated fully.

Fantasy Tip: Henry was the only pass-catcher who played well against the Denver Broncos a couple weeks ago. That was when Antonio Gates was hurting, though, and Henry only caught one pass for 16 yards last week. Yes, he is still capable of producing this week, but it's safer not to start him.

Fantasy Tip: Like Travis Benjamin, Williams hardly produced in San Diego's first meeting with the Denver Broncos. And also like Benjamin, Williams is no more than a WR4 consideration in arguably his toughest test of the year on the road, especially if he won't be at full health.
Wed, 26 Oct 2016 14:43:11 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Benjamin only caught three passes for 17 yards in San Diego against the Broncos. If Benjamin does play, he could put up similar numbers in Denver, too. Benjamin shouldn't be completely disregarded, but don't view him as more than a WR4 against the elite Denver pass defense.

San Diego Chargers RB Melvin Gordon is on pace for 315 carries this season - a total that would put him in the top 10 in team history. However, running backs coach Ollie Wilson has expressed concern that kind of workload may be a bit too much for a player coming off microfracture knee surgery this winter.
Fantasy Tip: Gordon's workload is high by today's standards, but owners should not be too concerned about this news. Barring injury, backups Kenneth Farrow and Dexter McCluster aren't likely to take more than five carries per game away from Gordon, who leads the league with 10 total touchdowns. The second-year back remains a good bet for 300-plus carries and is an every-week start in fantasy.
