Fantasy Tip: Green has not logged a single practice with the team since signing a four-year, $20 million contract back in March, so it would be foolish to expect an immediate contribution from him even if he is allowed to practice fully over the next two weeks. His talent makes him worth holding on deep rosters, but the odds of him doing anything of note this season dwindle by the week.

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown (thigh) left the Week 7 game against the New England Patriots briefly in the second half due to an injury to his hip or thigh area. He went to the locker room, was checked out, and re-entered the game to begin the fourth quarter.
Fantasy Tip: Brown is apparently fine, and he is on the verge of a 100-yard day despite the fact Ben Roethlisberger is in street clothes and backup Landry Jones is under center.

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger (knee) could return to action as soon as Week 9's game against the Baltimore Ravens, despite an initial diagnosis that he would be sidelined for four to six weeks with a torn left meniscus, according to multiple team sources. He has already been ruled out for Week 7's game against the New England Patriots and the club has a bye in Week 8.
Fantasy Tip: QB Landry Jones will start for Pittsburgh in Week 7 but the team has no plans to work out or acquire any veteran quarterbacks while Roethlisberger is sidelined, indicating that he might not miss as much time as originally feared. Jones is not a great fantasy option and should be avoided in all formats.

Pittsburgh Steelers OT Marcus Gilbert (ankle), DE Cameron Heyward (hamstring), QB Ben Roethlisberger (knee), SS Shamarko Thomas (groin), C Cody Wallace (knee) and WR Markus Wheaton (shoulder) did not participate in practice Friday, Oct. 21, and have been ruled out for Week 7. DE Stephon Tuitt (ankle) was limited during practice but is not on the injury report. FS Robert Golden (foot), FS Mike Mitchell (knee) and LB Ryan Shazier (knee) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.

Fantasy Tip: Williams did not practice all week. While Fitzgerald Toussaint moves up a spot on the depth chart for now, Williams' status this week all but locks Le'Veon Bell into a massive workload for an offense that was already missing Ben Roethlisberger.

Fantasy Tip: Green will likely need a couple of weeks of practice before he'll be able to play in a game. He's a solid chip at full health, but it's 50-50 whether he's worth stashing at this critical point in the fantasy season with bye weeks testing roster depth.

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger (knee) might miss just two to three weeks due to his torn meniscus. Team president Art Rooney II said Wednesday, Oct. 19, that the two- to three-week timetable is a "best case" scenario.
Fantasy Tip: Roethlisberger might miss just one game in Week 7, using the bye in Week 8 to rest and get ready for Week 9. Landry Jones will start in his place in Week 7.

Fantasy Tip: If Wheaton is expected to be sidelined Eli Rogers and Cobi Hamilton would be called upon to fill the void, but only Rogers is worth a look in deeper fantasy formats.

Fantasy Tip: Williams has received only eight carries over the last three games and probably will continue to see limited playing time as long as Le'Veon Bell is healthy. Williams should still be owned in most leagues as a Bell handcuff but should not be in starting lineups.

Fantasy Tip: Wheaton was not able to play in Week 6 and his status for this week is not looking good at this point. Wheaton should be avoided in all leagues if he plays because the Steelers likely will not throw as often with Landry Jones as the starting quarterback.

Updating previous reports, Pittsburgh Steelers president Art Rooney said a two-to-three week timetable for QB Ben Roethlisberger (knee) is considered a best-case scenario but believes a fair range for his return would be two to six weeks.
Fantasy Tip: Roethlisberger has been ruled out for Week 7, so owners will need to check on his status after the team's Week 8 bye. Landry Jones will be the Steelers' starting quarterback in Week 7 but should be avoided in all leagues.
