Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger (knee) made good progress in his recovery this week and appears to have a good chance to return in four weeks. Roethlisberger is off crutches and is moving around well.
Fantasy Tip: Roethlisberger ($8,100, 16.2% of cap) likely will miss the next three games but may return faster than some point think. Michael Vick ($5,700, 11.4% of cap) will start while Roethlisberger is out but is not a great fantasy option.

Fantasy Tip: Those who have Scobee on their roster can officially release him. Boswell might be worth a pickup if a team is struggling at the kicker position.

Fantasy Tip: Thursday night's miscues may have cost Josh Scobee his job. Let this situation play out before starting either Scobee or Boswell.

Fantasy Tip: The Steelers may be considering a change at kicker after Josh Scobee missed two field goals in Week 4. Forbath has had success in the NFL in the past and could be a fantasy option down the road if he joins the Steelers.

Free-agent PK Chris Boswell (Giants) will work out for the Pittsburgh Steelers Saturday, Oct. 3, according to a source. PK Josh Scobee has made only three of his seven field goal attempts from 40 to 49 yards.
Fantasy Tip: Scobee may be on a short leash after missing two field goals in Week 4, so owners should keep an eye on the situation. The Steelers kicker may not be the best option while Ben Roethlisberger is out of the lineup.

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown's streak of 35 straight regular season games with at least five catches and at least 50 yards ended in the loss to the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4 Thursday, Oct. 1. He finished with five catches for 42 yards. The timing of Brown and QB Michael Vick looked off several times in the contest.
Fantasy Tip: The fears of Brown ($8,900, 17.8% of cap) owners that he would suffer with Ben Roethlisberger (knee) out for around a month have come true. It might not be as bad as it was Thursday night moving forward, but you definitely have to downgrade the top fantasy wide receiver a bit as a result. His high price at FantasyScore should certainly scare many away in the weeks to follow.

Fantasy Tip: Vick ($5,700, 11.4% of cap) is a shell of his former self, and he loses most of his fantasy appeal because he isn't as much of a threat to run anymore. He's strictly a deep sleeper at QB on FantasyScore in the right matchup with Ben Roethlisberger (knee) out.

Fantasy Tip: Wheaton ($3,500, 7.0% of cap) has done very little this season, and even if the ankle injury turns out to be minor, the little value he had at FantasyScore is likely to be erased by the impending return Martavis Bryant.

Fantasy Tip: Roethlisberger ($8,100, 16.2% of cap) is expected to miss several weeks because of his injury but it could be a good sign for his progress if he is already off his crutches. Michael Vick ($5,700, 11.4% of cap) will be the starting quarterback for now but is a risky option for Week 4 since he has not receive much time to prepare.

Pittsburgh Steelers LB Ryan Shazier (shoulder, neck) is expected to be ready to return in Week 5 against the San Diego Chargers, according to sources informed of the situation. Shazier is quickly improving and gaining strength in his shoulder after receiving a second opinion this week.

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown's production could suffer with QB Ben Roethlisberger (knee) out four to six weeks. Brown credits astounding chemistry he has with Roethlisberger on and off the field to their success. Roethlisberger throws to Brown about 30% of the time on broken plays, and QB Michael Vick has had accuracy issues.
Fantasy Tip: Brown's ($8,900, 17.8% of cap) value could suffer a brownout, but not a complete blackout. He's talented enough to tally numbers with a toddler throwing to him. However, at this price tag, we understand second-guessing against the Baltimore Ravens on FantasyScore this week.

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Heath Miller will face the Baltimore Ravens Thursday, Oct. 1, in a Week 4 matchup. Miller is without starting QB Ben Roethlisberger (knee) and he will face a Ravens defense which has yielded just seven receptions and 30 yards against opposing tight ends through three games.
Fantasy Tip: Miller ($3,300, 6.6% of cap) has had some big games in the past against his division rivals, but he is without his starting quarterback and facing a team which has defended against the tight end well this season. Avoid him in FantasyScore.

Pittsburgh Steelers LB James Harrison (thumb) practiced Wednesday, Sept. 30, and is probable for Week 4 against the Baltimore Ravens. CB Cortez Allen (knee) was limited in practice and is questionable.
