Pittsburgh Steelers WR Markus Wheaton (shoulder) is set to return from a sprained right shoulder in Week 3 versus the Philadelphia Eagles, but he will do so in a timeshare with Sammie Coates and Darrius Heyward-Bey.
Fantasy Tip: It's impossible to know at this point whether the Steelers plan on making this a permanent arrangement or are only trying to bring him back slowly, but what is clear is that Wheaton is no more than a low-end flex for the time being. He is certainly still worth a bench spot and could move into the WR3 discussion as the year progresses.

Pittsburgh Steelers CB Senquez Golson (foot) and C Cody Wallace (knee) did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 23, and have been ruled out for Week 3. FB Roosevelt Nix (back) was limited during practice and is listed as doubtful. OG Ramon Foster (elbow) was limited and is listed as questionable. QB Landry Jones (back) and DE Cameron Heyward (knee) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.

Fantasy Tip: Wheaton missed the first two games of the season but should have a solid role in the passing game in Week 3. He could be a flex option in deeper leagues but could stay on the bench if owners have more favorable matchups.

Fantasy Tip: Wheaton is expected to make his season debut in Week 3, and he immediately warrants consideration as a flex option.

Fantasy Tip: Williams has 237 rushing yards and 10 catches through two games, and he should be considered a RB1 in Week 3 in what will likely be his final start before Le'Veon Bell returns.

Pittsburgh Steelers CB Senquez Golson (foot), QB Landry Jones (back) and C Cody Wallace (knee) did not practice Thursday, Sept. 22. OG Ramon Roster (non-injury), DE Cameron Heyward (knee) and FB Roosevelt Nix (back) were limited participants, and OG Chris Hubbard (non-injury) was a full participant.

Fantasy Tip: James has been targeted 12 times in the first two games and has eight receptions for 60 yards and one touchdown during that span. James has value because of his touchdown potential but should be a No. 2 tight end for most owners.

Fantasy Tip: Wheaton was held out of the team's Week 2 game but appears to have a good chance to play in Week 3. He should receive solid playing time during the game and can be a flex option in most leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Williams will be fine for the team's Week 3 game and will be receiving his last start before Le'Veon Bell returns. Williams has been one of the best running backs through the first two weeks of the season and should be a starter in all fantasy leagues.

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Markus Wheaton (shoulder) looks "ready to go," according to head coach Mike Tomlin, though Tomlin indicated that Wheaton's participation in practice leading up to Week 3 would determine his availability.
Fantasy Tip: Wheaton was close this past Sunday, and with another week it sounds like he should be back in action. The Steelers have moved the ball effectively in his absence, and Sammie Coates has done a good job on deep balls, but Wheaton is the most accomplished Steelers wideout this side of Antonio Brown. If Wheaton is up, he'd be an interesting option as a WR3 or flex play.

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger completed 19 of his 37 pass attempts for 259 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions in the Week 2 game against the Cincinnati Bengals. He also added one run for 14 yards.
Fantasy Tip: Roethlisberger didn't connect with Antonio Brown like last week, but he tossed a touchdown each to Xavier Grimble, Jesse James and DeAngelo Williams. He has quite the arsenal in Pittsburgh and remains a must-have QB1 in all formats heading into Week 3 at Philadelphia.

Fantasy Tip: Williams is filling in admirably for the suspended Le'Veon Bell, who is out at least one more week. Williams remains a low-end RB1 in all fantasy formats the way he is performing.

Fantasy Tip: The 6-foot-7 tight end is quickly developing a nice rapport with Ben Roethlisberger, a quarterback who has traditionally relied heavily on his tight ends. He is still not quite a must-start fantasy option, but if your primary option is struggling, James is worth keeping an eye on.
