Eagles | Ryan Mathews questionable

Fri, 09 Dec 2016 08:05:16 -0800

Philadelphia Eagles RB Ryan Mathews (knee) is questionable for Week 14.

Fantasy Tip: Mathews' seven touchdowns have tied a career high, but his 427 rushing yards leaves something to be desired. He'll be a flex option against the Washington Redskins.

Eagles | Jordan Matthews questionable

Fri, 09 Dec 2016 08:01:26 -0800

Philadelphia Eagles WR Jordan Matthews (ankle) is questionable for Week 14.

Fantasy Tip: Matthews shouldn't be much of a question to suit up against the Washington Redskins. Matthews has a decent matchup, but he has been pretty underwhelming. He's a WR3 in PPR formats.

Thu, 08 Dec 2016 12:50:59 -0800

Philadelphia Eagles WR Dorial Green-Beckham (abdomen) did not participate in practice Thursday, Dec. 8.

Fantasy Tip: Green-Beckham has been more involved in the passing game with 20 targets over the last two games. Owners can keep an eye on the situation but probably can find better options for their starting lineups.

Eagles | Jordan Matthews practices

Thu, 08 Dec 2016 12:47:06 -0800

Philadelphia Eagles WR Jordan Matthews (ankle) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 8.

Fantasy Tip: Matthews should receive his normal workload against the Washington Redskins in Week 14 despite the injury. He has been a pretty consistent player for owners this season and should be a No. 3 receiver in a majority of fantasy leagues.

Eagles | Ryan Mathews practices in full

Thu, 08 Dec 2016 12:32:26 -0800

Philadelphia Eagles RB Ryan Mathews (knee) fully participated in practice Thursday, Dec. 8.

Fantasy Tip: Mathews probably will share playing time with Darren Sproles and may receive most of the carries in Week 14. He could be a flex option in some deeper leagues but probably should be passed over in most standard leagues.

Eagles | Jordan Matthews limited

Wed, 07 Dec 2016 12:57:18 -0800

Updating a previous report, Philadelphia Eagles WR Jordan Matthews (ankle) was limited during practice Wednesday, Dec. 7.

Fantasy Tip: Matthews appears to be on track to play in Week 14, but owners will need to check on his status later in the week. He has been targeted at least 10 times in four of his last five games and should continue to be a solid part of the passing game. He can be a No. 3 receiver in all fantasy league.

Philadelphia Eagles WR Jordan Matthews (ankle) will practice Wednesday, Dec. 7, and he's expected to play in Week 14.

Wed, 07 Dec 2016 07:57:51 -0800

Philadelphia Eagles WR Dorial Green-Beckham (oblique) won't practice Wednesday, Dec. 7.

Eagles | Ryan Mathews expected back soon

Mon, 05 Dec 2016 10:08:11 -0800

Philadelphia Eagles RB Ryan Mathews (knee) should return to practice Wednesday, Dec. 7, according to head coach Doug Pederson.

Fantasy Tip: We'll see. Mathews has already missed two games with an injury Pederson initially called day-to-day, although MCL sprains are almost always multiple-week injuries. In an offense that has almost completely lost its way in recent weeks and certainly not running the ball enough to support even one runner in fantasy, owners should be able to do better at their flex spot in the fantasy playoffs.

Eagles | DGB diagnosed with oblique contusion

Mon, 05 Dec 2016 10:00:55 -0800

Philadelphia Eagles WR Dorial Green-Beckham (oblique) suffered an oblique contusion in a Week 13 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. He is not expected to practice Wednesday, Dec. 7, but should be back in time to play versus the Washington Redskins in Week 14.

Fantasy Tip: DGB would be expected to be the Eagles' top receiver in Week 14 should Jordan Matthews be unable to play, but it seems as though he'll have a chance to make it back from his ankle injury. Regardless of Matthews' status next week, Green-Beckham is far too inconsistent to consider as a potential starter in the fantasy playoffs.

Eagles | Jordan Matthews expected back soon

Mon, 05 Dec 2016 09:52:53 -0800

Philadelphia Eagles WR Jordan Matthews (ankle) should return to practice Wednesday, Dec. 7, according to head coach Doug Pederson.

Fantasy Tip: On a day in which Carson Wentz completed 36 passes, receivers accounted for only 14 catches. The Eagles' top receiver in its blowout loss to the Cincinnati Bengals was undrafted rookie free agent Paul Turner, which should provide plenty of insight into the current state of the position in Philadelphia. Turner would be a desperation play at best in Week 14 against the Washington Redskins should Matthews not play, but it appears as if he'll have a shot. Matthews will be a low-end WR3 for that game if he can go.

Eagles | Paul Turner targeted eight times

Sun, 04 Dec 2016 20:33:51 -0800

Philadelphia Eagles WR Paul Turner stepped up and posted six receptions for 80 yards on eight targets in the Week 13 game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Fantasy Tip: Turner posted more yards in a single game than Nelson Agholor ever has. Turner could have bought himself more playing time going forward, but his fantasy appeal remains rather negligible.
