Philadelphia Eagles C Jason Kelce (hernia) will likely need six weeks of recovery time following surgery to fix his sports hernia, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. C David Molk will replace Kelce. The team will either have to keep Kelce on roster or place him on the Reserve/Injured list.

Philadelphia Eagles CB Cary Williams said he believes the team is starting slow during games because the players are being overworked during practice by head coach Chip Kelly. "It's hard to go out there and fight for 60 minutes when you're fighting throughout the week to make it through one practice. I'm not the only one. I'm just the only one that's man enough to stand up here and talk to y'all. It's obviously, in my opinion, an issue in our starts," Williams said.

Fantasy Tip: Owners should watch to see if McCoy will be able to finish the game and have any problems in the next day or two. McCoy should be a starting option in most weeks when healthy.

Fantasy Tip: Darren Sproles and Chris Polk likely will fill in at running back while McCoy is sidelined. Both players could be options on FantasyScore next week if McCoy has to miss at least one week.

Philadelphia Eagles RB LeSean McCoy (undisclosed) was slow to get up after suffering an apparent helmet-to-helmet hit during the team's Week 3 game. He was able to walk off the field under his own power.
Fantasy Tip: McCoy could be checked for a concussion and may not return to the game depending on the severity of the injury. Owners will need to watch his status during the game and over the next few days.

Fantasy Tip: Ertz ($6,500; 13% of your cap) is a cost-efficient TE1 with upside against the Washington Redskins on FantasyScore this week.

Philadelphia Eagles WR Riley Cooper has five catches for 37 yards and no scores in two games this season despite Chip Kelly's offense creating one-on-one opportunities on the outside by drawing the safeties toward the middle of the field.
Fantasy Tip: While Cooper has been nonexistent, Jeremy Maclin has 21 targets in two games and has scored a touchdown in both. Maclin appears to have stepped into the role occupied by DeSean Jackson last year, and with a $6,200 salary (12.4% of cap) at FantasyScore, Maclin offers plenty of upside in Week 3 against a Washington defense that has yet to be tested by a legit passing attack.
