Philadelphia Eagles LB Marcus Smith has gained 15 pounds and put on lots of muscle since last season, according to LB Connor Barwin. "He's one of the stronger guys on our defense now," Barwin said. "He took the offseason and did what he needed to do, which was get bigger, stronger. Now we're just excited to see what happens when we put the pads on."

Philadelphia Eagles QB Mark Sanchez could be the team's best bet for a starting quarterback. Sanchez went 4-4 after taking over as the starter last season, and finished the campaign with a career best 64.1 completion percentage. Sanchez has played all but one game during his six-year career, showing health that's lacked by the Eagles' other options.
Fantasy Tip: Sanchez will compete primarily with Sam Bradford for the starting job, but the fact that Sanchez was re-signed to a two-year $9 million contract indicates he's strongly in the hunt for the position. Even if Bradford wins the job, his extensive injury history certainly could leave a door open for Sanchez to emerge at some point during the 2015 season.

Philadelphia Eagles QB Sam Bradford is a perfect fit for Chip Kelly's offense because he can make all the throws with a "top-notch" arm, is a "better athlete than people think" and operates best out of a no-huddle attack, according to New York Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo.
Fantasy Tip: Bradford may be the biggest risk-reward pick in fantasy drafts in 2015. If he can stay healthy, he could put up monster numbers in Kelly's offense.

Fantasy Tip: Cooper caught just 577 yards of passes in 2014, and that number figures to go down in 2015 if Agholor catches on. Cooper's fantasy value is declining in Philadelphia.

Fantasy Tip: Agholor should see solid playing time in his rookie season and could have a solid role in the offense. Owners could consider Agholor as an option in the late round of drafts next season, but he may not be an every-week option.

Philadelphia Eagles QB Mark Sanchez believes he can still start this year. "Really just talking with [head] coach [Chip] Kelly and knowing I'm coming with the opportunity to compete for the starting job, that was important to me," Sanchez said.
Fantasy Tip: Sam Bradford is still the predominant favorite to start for the Eagles as long as he's healthy. In eight starts last season, Sanchez threw 14 touchdowns and 11 interceptions -- not good enough to draft as a starting quarterback. Both Bradford and Sanchez should be considered backups and/or bye-week replacements.

Philadelphia Eagles OG Evan Mathis didn't generate a single trade offer, according to head coach Chip Kelly Saturday, May 2. According to Kelly, Mathis has been available for a trade for two years and the Eagles have "never had an offer for him," per NFL Media's Aditi Kinkhabwala.

Fantasy Tip: One media member said Bradford was "being shopped like a slice of pizza." Bradford looks like he'll go into the season as the No. 1 QB for Philadelphia, but any contract talks may have Bradford holding the team over a barrel.

Philadelphia Eagles QB G.J. Kinne will no longer be a quarterback but will try to play another position, according to head coach Chip Kelly. "Kinne wants to try to make the team as a special teams player, maybe a receiver or running back, kind of a multi-purpose player on the offensive side of the ball," Kelly said.

The Philadelphia Eagles offered the Tennessee Titans two first-round picks, one third-round pick, DT Fletcher Cox, CB Brandon Boykin, LB Mychal Kendricks and QB Sam Bradford in exchange for the 2nd overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, according to a source.
Fantasy Tip: After turning down a very generous offer, it is no surprise to learn that Tennessee plans on start Mariota in 2015. Consider him a low-end QB2 to open the year.
