Fantasy Tip: Matthews should garner a large percentage of targets in the Philadelphia offense, and he's flashed plenty of fantasy upside through his first two seasons. He should be ready for Week 1, and the third-year receiver checks out as a viable No. 3 wide receiver in the majority of fantasy settings.

Fantasy Tip: Smallwood has drawn comparisons to former Eagles greats Brian Westbrook and LeSean McCoy in that he can produce in the running and receiving game. He's buried on the depth chart for now, but a strong showing in the next two weeks could add to his RB5 mystique in fantasy.

Denver Broncos QB Mark Sanchez was acquired by Denver in exchange for a conditional pick with the Philadelphia Eagles. Sanchez must make Denver's final roster in order for the Eagles to keep that pick.

Fantasy Tip: Wentz is a better dynasty chip as he's not expected to start this season. He's not worth drafting in single-year leagues.

Philadelphia Eagles WR Jordan Matthews (knee) should be ready for the start of the regular season, according to head coach Doug Pederson. Matthews is considered day-to-day, but Pederson is not sure if Matthews will practice this week.
Fantasy Tip: Matthews could play in the third preseason game, but the Eagles may also decide to keep him out until Week 1. He should be one of the main targets in the passing game when he is healthy and can be a No. 2 receiver in all fantasy leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Wentz is not expected to receive much playing time this season and can take his time recovering from the injury. Wentz should be an attractive option in keeper leagues but can be avoided in most standard leagues.

Philadelphia Eagles RB Kenjon Barner has made it clear that he is the No. 2 running back behind RB Ryan Mathews, according to beat writer Reuben Frank. He has rushed 13 times for 76 yards in the first two preseason games.
Fantasy Tip: Barner may be the No. 2, but Darren Sproles is the second back to own in fantasy - especially in PPR leagues. Mathews does have a decorated injury history, which could make Barner a factor. However, he doesn't have much upside beyond a RB5 handcuff for now.

Philadelphia Eagles WR Paul Turner has been the best wide receiver for the team aside from WR Jordan Matthews, in the opinion of beat writer Reuben Frank. He has made highlight plays, including a one-handed catch in the second preseason game.
Fantasy Tip: Turner is an undrafted rookie, and he will have to do a lot more to usurp Nelson Agholor and Dorial Green-Beckham. Turner doesn't have much fantasy luster for now.
