Fantasy Tip: The Eagles abandoned the ground game early in Week 12 when they fell behind against Green Bay, but a friendlier matchup against Cincinnati Sunday should mean more work for Smallwood. He is a potential flex option in standard formats and a low-priced sleeper in DFS games.

Philadelphia Eagles WR Jordan Matthews (ankle) will be a true game-time decision in Week 13 versus the Cincinnati Bengals after not practicing Friday, Dec. 2, and the Eagles are reportedly "far less confident" in his availability than they were earlier in the week, according to NJ.com's Eliot Shorr-Parks.
Fantasy Tip: The Eagles have perhaps the worst receiving corps in the league with Matthews, so they'll probably wait as long as possible before ruling him out - assuming they do. Zach Ertz would likely get peppered with targets if Matthews sits, while Dorial Green-Beckham would probably step up into the lead receiver role. Bryce Treggs and Nelson Agholor could also play minor roles as well, although both would not be worth using in fantasy.

Fantasy Tip: Matthews will probably suit up, but his upside has been pretty minimal for most of the season with just three touchdowns. The Cincinnati Bengals are a midrange matchup, and he's a WR3 in PPR.

Fantasy Tip: Wendell Smallwood is expected to be the lead back with Darren Sproles likely in passing situations. Smallwood didn't impress with nine carries for 37 yards in the role last week, but the Cincinnati Bengals could pose a sneaky matchup advantage. The Bengals' offense is reeling, which could give the Eagles the opportunity to run more. Smallwood is a low-end flex play. Sproles is much of the same in PPR formats only.

Fantasy Tip: Smallwood was the lead back last week and managed just nine carries for 37 yards. The Cincinnati Bengals are a midrange matchup, but Smallwood might be a better play this week. The Bengals' offense isn't as explosive without a couple key parts, and the Eagles may be able to run the ball more. Look for Smallwood as a low-end flex option.

Fantasy Tip: Matthews appears to be on track to play in Week 13 and should receive his usual playing time. He has been targeted at least 10 times in four of his last five games and should continue to be a top target in the passing game. He can be a No. 3 receiver in most leagues.

Fantasy Tip: It appears like Mathews will miss another game, so owners will need to look for other options. Darren Sproles and Wendell Smallwood would share snaps again in Week 13 if Mathews is out. Sproles can be a low-end No. 2 running back or a flex option in point-per-reception leagues. Smallwood probably can be passed over in most leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Mathews isn't expected back this week against the Cincinnati Bengals, and Darren Sproles figures to be the most useful back in fantasy. However, he has seven rushing attempts in the last three weeks and is useless unless you have PPR scoring. His receiving totals aren't consistent enough to bank on weekly, but he could fall into the flex pool.

Fantasy Tip: Matthews has had two big games this season, and he has been pretty average otherwise. He faces a tough matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals, and he probably falls into the WR3 area in PPR leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Mathews is extremely unlikely to play again anytime soon after Pederson termed his injury "significant" and one that "could linger" last week, but we'll go along with the charade for now until he is ruled out for Week 13. Darren Sproles figures to be the most valuable running back on the team moving forward, but he is a flex option at best most weeks. Wendell Smallwood will likely continue to occupy the early-down role in Mathews' absence and doesn't need to be started in most leagues.
