Fantasy Tip: Crabtree has re-emerged as a must-start fantasy option this season after many injury-marred seasons and inconsistency, especially early on in his days in San Francisco. He is a legitimate WR1 in most fantasy leagues right now.

Fantasy Tip: Cooper had a pair of 100-yard games over the past two outings, so this was a big disappointment against a Jacksonville pass defense which is in the lower half of the league statistically. With just one touchdown through six games, Cooper should be treated more like a WR2 in most fantasy leagues heading into Week 8 at Tampa Bay.

Oakland Raiders QB Derek Carr completed 23 of his 37 pass attempts for 200 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in his Week 7 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He also ran four times for four yards.
Fantasy Tip: Carr has at least one passing touchdown in each of his seven games this season, but he has just one 300-yard passing game since Week 1. He is a solid bye-week replacement or low-end QB1 when your primary option has a difficult matchup.

Oakland Raiders RB Latavius Murray (toe) returned from injury in Week 7 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, finishing with 18 runs for 59 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He also had two receptions for four yards on five targets.
Fantasy Tip: It was a nice return for Murray, who had been absent in recent weeks due to a turf toe issue. He should be treated as a RB2 heading into Week 8 at Tampa Bay against a Bucs rush defense which ranks in the lower half of the league.

Fantasy Tip: Murray was limited in practice throughout the week and was officially listed as questionable on the team's most recent edition of the injury report. He should lead a three-man committee that also includes Jalen Richard and DeAndre Washington but don't be surprised if he receives most of the snaps since neither player stood out in his absence. View Murray as a low-end RB2 or flex option for this week's game.

Oakland Raiders OG Vadal Alexander (ankle) did not participate in practice Friday, Oct. 21, and is listed as doubtful for Week 7. OG Jon Feliciano (calf), C Rodney Hudson (knee), OG Gabe Jackson (knee), RB Taiwan Jones (knee), S Brynden Trawick (shoulder) and OT Menelik Watson (calf) were limited during practice and are listed as questionable.

Fantasy Tip: Murray appears to be on track to play against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but owners will need to check the inactive list to make sure. He probably will start at running back but may have to share work with DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard during the game. Murray can be considered a low-end No. 2 running back or flex option for owners.

Fantasy Tip: Neither DeAndre Washington nor Jalen Richard separated himself from the pack in Murray's absence, so Murray will likely go back to leading a three-man committee Sunday so long as he doesn't experience a setback. Given the crowded house that is Oakland's backfield, Murray is no better than a high-upside flex at the moment.

Fantasy Tip: Murray may or may not be able to suit up for Week 7 in Jacksonville, but you can expect DeAndre Washington, Jalen Richard and Jamize Olawale to still handle plenty of snaps with Murray being eased in, if active. Murray isn't worth using in most fantasy formats at this point.

Oakland Raiders OG Vadal Alexander (ankle) and S Brynden Trawick (shoulder) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 19. OG Jon Feliciano (calf), C Rodney Hudson (knee), OG Gabe Jackson (knee), RB Taiwan Jones (knee) and OT Menelik Watson (calf) were limited during practice.

Fantasy Tip: It appears that Murray has a chance to play in Week 7, so owners should monitor his practice participation during the week. He likely would receive most of the carries if he is active this week and should be a No. 2 running back in fantasy leagues.

Oakland Raiders DE Mario Edwards Jr. (hip) is not eligible to return to game action until Nov. 6, but head coach Jack del Rio suggested during his weekly news conference that the next step of Edwards' recovery is to have him begin running on the side during practice this week.
Mon, 17 Oct 2016 17:30:29 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Owners will need to check on Murray's practice participation during the week to see if he has a chance to play against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He probably would receive a majority of the carries if he plays and would be a fine starting option for owners.
