Fantasy Tip: Richardson been a bit of a disappointment since entering the league but will look to play well for the Raiders. He probably will not start this season but should receive some carries. Richardson could be a late-round option in deeper leagues as a handcuff to Latavius Murray or depth at the position.

Oakland Raiders RB Latavius Murray performed well during the mandatory minicamp this offseason, according to offensive line coach Mike Tice. Tice said Murray showed good speed and finish during practices.
Fantasy Tip: The Raiders could use a committee at running back this season, but Murray should see a majority of the carries. He posted a solid 5.2 yards per carries in 2014 and added two touchdowns. Murray could be a middle-round option in drafts and could be a No. 2 running back in deeper leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Helu could be worth a late-round flier in point-per-reception leagues, especially if Trent Richardson underwhelms leading up to the season.

Oakland Raiders CB SaQwan Edwards has "been impressive so far this offseason and always seems to be around the ball," according to Jerry Knaak of Raiders.com. Knaak believes Edwards has a legitimate shot to make the Week 1 roster.

Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree received recognition from QB Derek Carr Tuesday, June 30, for his presence in the locker room. "He's such a great teammate. I love the guy. I talk to him all the time. We're always talking about the game. We're always talking ball. We're always talking routes, concepts, and what we're going to do during the game, and hand signals, all those things. He is a football junkie. He's been a nice guy, a nice addition to our team," said Carr.
Fantasy Tip: Crabtree fell off the face of the Earth last season, but he represents one of few Raiders' receiving threats with experience. While rookie Amari Cooper is the fantasy darling and the more talented receiver, Crabtree could be the better option in the early weeks of the season, until Cooper gets fully accustomed to the NFL.

Oakland Raiders WR Amari Cooper drew praise from QB Derek Carr in an interview with 95.7 The Game Tuesday, June 30. "He [Cooper] is ridiculous in and out of his breaks," said Carr. "His style of play is perfect for this league. He's good at getting on toes and creating separation. He's good at when the ball is in his hands making those fast-twitch movements to make a guy go one way so he can take it to the house. It's just little things that honestly people don't even notice," Carr said.
Fantasy Tip: Carr went on to praise Cooper's work ethic in camp. Cooper's value can only get as high as Carr and the Raiders' offensive line allows it, but it's sure promising to see an early relationship forming.

Oakland Raiders FB Marcel Reece said he doesn't expect a drop off in chemistry as RB Latavius Murray replaces RB Darren McFadden this season because Murray has spent the last couple of years watching film and talking football with Reece.
Fantasy Tip: Murray should open the year as the primary back, and while he has never been a No. 1 back for an entire year, he has shown enough potential to be selected as a mid-range RB2.

Oakland Raiders CB D.J. Hayden isn't guaranteed to open the 2015 season as a starting cornerback. 2014 fourth-round pick CB Keith McGill has been opposite CB T.J. Carrie with the first unit for much of the offseason.

Oakland Raiders RB Latavius Murray has the opportunity to be the team's No. 1 running back in 2015, and it's one he embraces. "It's a great feeling, but every day I have to go in there knowing I need to get better every day," Murray explained. "I need to play like it's a new year. Last season is just last season and the year before that it was the year before that. Every season is a new year for me and it's a year I have to go out and prove something."
Fantasy Tip: It seems a certainty that Murray will win the No. 1 job away from free-agent addition Trent Richardson. Murray should be considered as an RB2 with plenty of upside.

Oakland Raiders TE Clive Walford could be the leading candidate for the starting tight end job this season. Walford performed well during offseason workouts, and the team believes he can be one of the better receiving tight ends in time.
Fantasy Tip: Owners will need to monitor the situation during training camp to see if he will win the starting job. Walford may not be worth a draft pick in most drafts but could be a waiver wire option if he becomes a solid part of the passing game.

Fantasy Tip: Streater is projected as one of the top three receivers for the Raiders, and he isn't a bad late-round speculative pick for fantasy owners on draft day if he can hold onto one of the top three wideout jobs.

Fantasy Tip: Holmes has shown potential in the past, but even if he holds off a charge from Thompkins his fantasy appeal in standard formats would be negligible unless one of the top three receivers suffers a long-term injury.
