Oakland Raiders impending free-agent RB Latavius Murray will have interest from multiple teams, according to ESPN's Adam Caplan, and Caplan believes the market for Murray could make it difficult for Oakland to re-sign him.
Fantasy Tip: Murray has been the workhorse for Oakland the last two years, and if he returns, he should be a high-floor, volume-based RB2.

Fantasy Tip: Crabtree was able to surpass the 1,000-yard mark for the first time in four years in 2016 and posted a career-high 89 receptions. He will continue to be part of one of the better offenses in the NFL and can be considered a No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues.

Oakland Raiders offensive coordinator Todd Downing said he will not make changes just for the sake of making them after replacing Bill Musgrave. "Oh, it will be very subtle," Downing said in a conference call with reporters Wednesday, Feb. 15. "We're going to keep the same system terminology. There's no reason to change any of that stuff. All we're doing right now is finding the ways that we can all individually do our jobs better, prepare our positions better, and how we can just quarter-turn a couple things to make the offense as efficient as possible."
Fantasy Tip: This is a wise approach to his new job, as fixing what isn't broken generally doesn't translate well in fantasy. The offensive stars should remain strong contributors, barring injuries, and finding ways to subtly tweak the offense can open doors for fringe players to see larger roles.

Oakland Raiders QB Derek Carr will have a voice in the game planning, according to new offensive coordinator Todd Downing, who was promoted from quarterbacks coach after former offensive coordinator Bill Musgrave's contract expired.
"There's been a lot made about his command at the line of scrimmage. There's certainly going to be opportunities for Derek to do that," Downing said. "... Where I see him needing a little bit more command is just being able to share his thoughts of game plans. Being a student of the game, as he already is, but vocalize what he likes and doesn't like. I think my relationship with him is something that's going to give him the opportunity to voice his opinions. I look forward to him really taking charge of expressing his thoughts on the offense."
Fantasy Tip: Carr was in the conversation of NFL MVP before breaking his leg, and with few changes expected in the system, there is little reason to doubt he can have another special season. Carr is a rock-solid No. 1 fantasy quarterback.

Fantasy Tip: The Raiders have a deep backfield as is and they can afford to let Murray go even with his recent success. DeAndre Washington, Jalen Richard and Taiwan Jones will make up the Raiders' backfield for now. Washington has the most promise, but this should end up as a committee.

Oakland Raiders RB Latavius Murray recorded less carries and receptions in 2016 than he did in 2015. Murray had 195 carries and 33 receptions this season while recording 266 carries and 41 receptions in 2015.
Fantasy Tip: Murray will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, so there is a chance he will be playing for a new team in 2017. He finished in the top five in touchdowns with 12 and may be able to find a starting job with a team. He can be considered a No. 2 or No. 3 running back in fantasy leagues depending on his offensive role.

Fantasy Tip: Carr is the future of the Raiders on offense, so it would behoove Oakland to sign him to a long-term deal sooner rather than later. As long as he fully recovers from his broken fibula, he'll be a QB1 option for 2017 fantasy drafts.
