Oakland Raiders WR Michael Crabtree has been the star of the team's first three days of training camp, according to San Francisco Chronicle writer Vic Tafur, who categorized the wide receiver position as a team strength.
Fantasy Tip: This is encouraging for Crabtree's fantasy forecast, but we all know injuries are a concern, and seeing him do it over a full slate has become akin to spotting a sasquatch. Consider Crabtree a risky WR3 or ideal WR4 target.

Fantasy Tip: Richardson was expected to compete for the starting job, and if he ends up failing to make the roster, Latavius Murray becomes a safe RB2 option while Roy Helu would be worth a late flier in points-per-reception formats.

Oakland Raiders RB Latavius Murray said he understands how important it is for him to perform well in 2015. "I know the success I've had doesn't matter," Murray said Friday, July 31. "What matters now is what I [do going] forward and what I do this upcoming season, this upcoming training camp. Again, do anything I can just to get better and help the team."
Fantasy Tip: While Murray is an unproven option, he was impressive when his role expanded late last season. With the No. 1 running back job his to lose in 2015, Murray should make a solid RB2.

Fantasy Tip: Streater was limited to only three games last season because of a foot injury and may take things slow during training camp. Streater could have receive some targets this season but is not more than a late-round option or a waiver wire option during the season.

Fantasy Tip: Richardson is expected to compete for the starting running back job when he is cleared to practice. He is likely the underdog in the competition but should see playing time even if he does not win the job. Richardson could be a late-round option in deeper leagues as depth at the position.

Fantasy Tip: Latavius Murray seems to be the talk of camp and he could have a breakout year as a low-end RB2 or high-end RB3. T-Rich shouldn't be drafted as much more than a handcuff unless he carves out a decent-sized role.

Oakland Raiders rookie WR Amari Cooper was compared to former Oakland WR Tim Brown by former WR Jerry Rice. Rice said the Raiders have their new Tim Brown in Cooper. Brown himself said Cooper is a superb receiver who he thinks will dominate right away.
Fantasy Tip: Cooper is widely considered the top rookie wide receiver in the fantasy football realm this year. Cooper has the size and talent to succeed right away, but playing with a second-year quarterback could mean a learning curve. Still, there are less advisable moves than taking him as your second wide receiver.

Oakland Raiders RB Trent Richardson plans to make the most of a fresh start in Oakland. "I know what they [the coaching staff] expect and how they're going to spread the field, putting me in a position to be successful," said Richardson. "With that, in talking to [Head] Coach [Jack Del Rio], he just said there is just a lot of opportunity out here. He said he isn't going to promise me anything, but if I come in and work, I can be that bell cow," Richardson said Tuesday, July 28.
Fantasy Tip: Richardson has scored just six touchdowns, while playing in 31 games for two teams over the past two seasons. Latavius Murray should be expected to enter the season as the Raiders' starting running back, as he has far more upside than Richardson.

Fantasy Tip: Cooper should see plenty of targets as a rookie, and while some highs and lows are to be expected, he should make a solid WR3 or low-end WR2.

Fantasy Tip: Walford will still have to beat out Mychal Rivera, among others, in training camp and preseason. Williamson said he expects Walford to win the starting job because he is more able to stretch the field.
