Fantasy Tip: The Raiders have about $12 million more in cap space than the Dallas Cowboys, another team expressing interest in Peterson, have at this point. A year away from the game may make Peterson a little rusty around the edges. Still, there's no doubt Peterson would be the star in Oakland. He's still RB1 material if everything works out.

Fantasy Tip: Crabtree might be in line for a starting job with a strong training camp and preseason, as he battles Rod Streater and Andre Holmes, among others. Crabtree certainly has the most skills, but he also has a lengthy injury history, too.

Fantasy Tip: Crabtree could compete for a starting job during training camp but should have a solid role in the passing game even if he does not start for the team. Crabtree could be a late-round option in fantasy leagues next season.

Fantasy Tip: Crabtree has not received a lot of interest during free agency, but it appears things are picking up for him. Crabtree may not be a starter if he signs with the Raiders but should have a solid role in the passing game. Crabtree likely will be a late-round pick in most drafts next season.

Former Nebraska LB Randy Gregory could be a draft target of the Oakland Raiders. Gregory is considered a top prospect, but his draft status came into question when he admitted at the NFL combine that he tested positive for marijuana use. Considered one of the best pass-rushers in the draft, Gregory could be a target for the Raiders with the 35th overall pick if he were to fall in the draft. The Raiders could also consider trading down from the No. 4 spot, in order to select Gregory in the No. 10-20 range.

Fantasy Tip: Perriman had a strong showing at the scouting combine and has a chance to be selected in the first round of the draft. Perriman probably will not win a starting job during training camp but could be a later-round option in deeper leagues because of his deep threat ability.

Updating a previous report, Oakland Raiders WR Andre Holmes signed his one-year tender Tuesday, April 7, and the deal is worth $1.542 million. He was present and active for the team's first strength and conditioning workout Tuesday.
Fantasy Tip: Holmes likely still has James Jones and Rod Streater ahead of him on the depth chart, and the team has looked into free agents this offseason. Right now Holmes is nothing more than a late-round flier in re-draft leagues.
