New York Jets WR Jeremy Kerley officially signed a four-year, $16 million extension Tuesday, Oct. 21. Kerley will receive $5.4 million of guaranteed money. He has 22 catches for 201 yards and a touchdown this year.
Fantasy Tip: The acquisition of Percy Harvin could open up more room to run for Kerley, although his targets may suffer as a result. In Week 8, the Jets face a favorable matchup for Kerley in the Buffalo Bills. Kerley will be flying under the radar at FantasyScore at a price of $3,000 (6.0% of cap).

Fantasy Tip: Kerley is barely on the fantasy radar especially with Percy Harvin now in town. Harvin, Eric Decker and TE Jace Amaro figure to see the majority of targets from QB Geno Smith. It's best to stay away from Kerley for now.

Fantasy Tip: Harvin likely will be eased into the offense, so owners should lower their expectations on him for the time being. Harvin could be a flex option on FantasyScore depending on his price tag.

Fantasy Tip: The Jets have already played this week, so Harvin will not be a factor on FantasyScore for Week 7.

New York Jets WR Percy Harvin was involved in a fight with former teammate, Detroit Lions WR Golden Tate, last year during the week of the Super Bowl. Harvin also was involved in an altercation with Seattle Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin during the final week of the preseason.

New York Jets WR Percy Harvin is onto his third NFL team, and he looks for more success than with the Seattle Seahawks. In Minnesota, he averaged 7.3 targets per game with 61.2 receiving yards per game and 34.2 yards per game after the catch (YAC). He ranked sixth in YAC. In Seattle, he managed just 4.5 targets per game, with only 25.0 receiving yards per game, 17.0 yards per catch and he ranked 99th in the league in YAC.
Fantasy Tip: The receiver-starved Jets will likely try to use him early and often, but he has to learn a new playbook. Plus, his owners lose him this week, because the Jets already played, and then Harvin will have another bye in Week 11. He has a downgrade at the quarterback position and moves to a cold-weather city. Fantasy owners will clearly not be happy with the move.

Fantasy Tip: Maybe the change in scenery will be good for Harvin, who has been frustrating fantasy owners in the early part of the year. The Jets may need to get creative in how they use Harvin, and it may take some time for him to get up to speed on the new offense. His FantasyScore price has been pretty reasonable, so there is profit potential if he becomes heavily involved in the Jets offense. In Seattle, this could boost the value of Doug Baldwin, and Ricardo Lockette and Jermaine Kearse could see increased work.

Fantasy Tip: Ivory has been the team's best back all year, and he made the most of his heavy workload. If 20-plus carries become the norm for Ivory, he will warrant serious consideration at FantasyScore as a second back when the Jets have favorable matchups.

Fantasy Tip: The injury looked potentially serious, but Smith was able to make a quick return. Healthy or not, Smith doesn't offer much value at FantasyScore with the Jets' passing attack struggling.

New York Jets TE Jace Amaro played 36 snaps in the team's Week 6 loss to the Denver Broncos after being stuck between 20 and 25 snaps in every game this year before that. He also doubled his season high in catches and scored a touchdown against the Broncos. Amaro could be emerging into QB Geno Smith's No. 2 target behind WR Eric Decker in the passing game.
Fantasy Tip: Amaro's big Week 6 performance put him on the map as a popular waiver wire target this week. It might be time to capitalize on his cheap FantasyScore price ($3,000; 6.0% of cap) against the New England Patriots Thursday night.
