Fantasy Tip: It is uncertain if Marshall will be limited to certain situations such as third downs or red-zone possessions or if he will be used primarily as a decoy this afternoon, so DFS players should look for safer receiving options this week. In addition, inclement weather could play a role in the way he's utilized. This development should result in increased playing time for WR Jalin Marshall versus Kansas City.

Fantasy Tip: Veteran Matt Forte is off to an excellent start, and as long as he remains healthy and productive, Powell is simply a handcuff.

New York Jets RB Matt Forte is on pace for 472 touches this season, but head coach Todd Bowles is not among those worried about his 30-year-old holding up for the entire season. "I don't worry about who plays a lot and who doesn't play a lot. Whoever's got the hot hand plays. If we can ride somebody, we'll ride him, whether it be a receiver, quarterback or running back. It really doesn't matter," Bowles said.
Fantasy Tip: The Jets played last Thursday, affording Forte a few more days of rest than he would typically have following a 30-carry effort in Week 2. It should go without saying that Forte will not continue logging carries at this pace, but his contributions in the passing game should keep him in the RB1 discussion anyway. His owners should use this time to buy low on his handcuff, Bilal Powell.

Fantasy Tip: Decker has 15 receptions for 163 yards and two touchdowns through his first two games this season and could be in line for an even bigger role in the offense if WR Brandon Marshall (foot, knee) is held out of Week 3's game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Decker should be viewed as a solid WR2 option in all fantasy formats.

New York Jets QB Bryce Petty (shoulder) has been ruled out for Week 3. LB Erin Henderson (foot) and LB David Harris (shoulder) are listed as questionable. Petty and Henderson did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 23, while Harris was limited during practice. OG James Carpenter (calf), LB Jordan Jenkins (calf), CB Darryl Roberts (foot), DE Muhammad Wilkerson (ankle), LB Bruce Carter (shoulder) and OG Brian Winters (hand) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report.

Fantasy Tip: Enunwa has been one of the more surprising players in fantasy football this season and will continue to have a solid role in the Jets' passing game. He should be at least a No. 3 receiver for most owners.

Fantasy Tip: Forte will continue to receive significant playing time and should see a lot of touches against the Kansas City Chiefs. He is a must-start option in all leagues as long as he can stay healthy.

Fantasy Tip: Decker has a chance to be the No. 1 receiver for the Jets in Week 3 if Brandon Marshall is ruled out. He is off to a solid start this season and should be a No. 2 receiver for owners.

Fantasy Tip: Marshall may be a game-time decision this week, so owners will need to check the inactive list before deciding on their lineups. Owners should have other options available in case Marshall is not able to play. He can be a starting candidate if he is active for the game.

Fantasy Tip: Owners holding out hope Marshall will suit up in Week 3 can breathe a little easier, although he is certainly not out of the woods yet. Given the Jets play in the late afternoon window Sunday, owners would be wise to expect him to sit this one out and be prepared to make the switch if he is cleared. Quincy Enunwa has emerged as a major factor in the passing game and should be considered a WR2 should Marshall be unable to go.

Fantasy Tip: After a pedestrian season opener opposite the Cincinnati Bengals, Fitzpatrick churned out a big-time outing to get the Jets to 1-1 on the year. Of course, owners shouldn't expect this type of production from Fitz on a regular basis, but as shown last season in his debut campaign in New York, he is capable of providing big numbers here and there.
