New York Jets WR Percy Harvin played 44 of 84 snaps in his debut with the team in Week 8, lining up in the backfield and running some deep routes. The Jets are making it a point to immediately get the ball into his hands.
Fantasy Tip: Expect those snap-count totals to rise in the coming weeks as Harvin is ingratiated into the offense some more. He only costs $4,800 (9.6% of cap) in Week 9 against the Kansas City Chiefs. If Michael Vick can get him the ball more often, Harvin could be a steal.

Fantasy Tip: Kerley's price ($3,000) is at the bare minimum for receivers at FantasyScore now that Percy Harvin is in the fold. It'll limit Kerley's targets considerably, making him now a flex play, at best.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson has quickly faded into obscurity behind Chris Ivory in this backfield. You shouldn't even consider Johnson for your FantasyScore lineups until New York can find ways to get him involved.

Fantasy Tip: Decker will play against the Chiefs in Week 9. He'll cost you $6,000 (12.0% of cap) at FantasyScore, but the Jets offense could struggle with Michael Vick at the helm.

New York Jets QB Geno Smith (shoulder) is questionable for Week 9 against the Kansas City Chiefs. CB Darrin Walls (calf, knee) is doubtful, while OG Oday Aboushi (shoulder), DB Phillip Adams (groin), LB Antwan Barnes (knee), OG Willie Colon (knee), TE Jeff Cumberland (shoulder, finger), LB Demario Davis (finger), LB David Harris (shoulder), C Nick Mangold (shoulder), LB Trevor Reilly (knee) and WR Greg Salas (wrist, ankle) are probable. Walls did not practice Friday, Oct. 31, while the others were full participants.

New York Jets RB Chris Johnson, who carried the ball just three times for seven yards in Week 8, said he's frustrated with his limited role in the offense. "This is the first time I've ever felt this type of frustration, but there's nothing I can really do about it right now," Johnson said. Johnson and offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg discussed the possibility of expanded his role two weeks ago, but that hasn't come to fruition. Head coach Rex Ryan insisted that Johnson isn't being phased out of the offense.
Fantasy Tip: Until we see the Jets involve Johnson more in the offense, it's not wise to go with him in your FantasyScore lineups.

Fantasy Tip: Smith should not be started in any leagues this week with Michael Vick now at the helm.
Thu, 30 Oct 2014 14:24:37 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Kerley's value figures to dwindle with Percy Harvin and Eric Decker being the team's top two wide receivers. It might be best to keep him on the bench this week, especially with a new quarterback in Michael Vick.
Thu, 30 Oct 2014 14:21:59 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Johnson still isn't worth starting in seasonal or daily leagues. He's been much too inconsistent coming off the bench.

Fantasy Tip: It will be Decker's first game with QB Michael Vick, so tread carefully. He's priced at $6,000 on FantasyScore if you want to take the risk.

New York Jets CB Darrin Walls (calf, knee) did not practice Thursday, Oct. 30. OT Oday Aboushi (shoulder), CB Phillip Adams (groin), LB Antwan Barnes (knee), OG Willie Colon (knee), TE Jeff Cumberland (finger, shoulder), LB Demario Davis (finger), LB David Harris (shoulder), LB Trevor Reilly (knee), C Nick Mangold (shoulder) and WR Greg Salas participated fully.

Fantasy Tip: Kerley appears to be recovering from his illness and should be able to play in Week 9. Kerley costs $3,000 on FantasyScore but probably is not a great starting option.

New York Jets RB Chris Johnson said he is frustrated with his small role on offense as well as the team's struggles. "Of course I'm frustrated," Johnson said. "On top of having a limited role, not playing as much as I want to play and then on top of that we're 1-7. It's frustrating." Johnson received only 16 snaps in the team's Week 8 game. He rushed for seven yards on three carries and caught two passes for 13 yards.
Fantasy Tip: Johnson has not done a lot this season and has been part of a committee at running back. Johnson has a price of $3,400 on FantasyScore, but owners should be able to find a better option.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson has become an afterthought in this backfield; he had just three carries for seven yards and two catches in Week 8. He isn't even worth his cheap FantasyScore price of $3,400 (6.8% of cap).
