Fantasy Tip: Todd Gurley gains value with Tre Mason, Benny Cunningham and Isaiah Pead also in the mix. Gurley should receive plenty of opportunities to run away with the starting role, although Mason is coming off a respectable rookie campaign and should still be involved in the offense. If he can maintain good health, Gurley has RB2 potential.

Fantasy Tip: The Jets' backfield is officially crowded with Stacy, Chris Ivory, Stevan Ridley and Bilal Powell. New York seems to be content with the ultimate committee approach. It's unclear at this point who will be the official starter, but no one in this backfield should be considered more than a RB3 unless something changes.

St. Louis Rams RB Zac Stacy may be drawing interest from the New York Jets. The Jets have reportedly asked the Rams about Stacy, who now seems to be on bad terms with St. Louis after RB Todd Gurley was selected in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Tip: It would be a pretty crowded backfield if Stacy landed with the Jets, who acquired Stevan Ridley this offseason in addition to already having Chris Ivory and Bilal Powell on the roster. A Stacy traded would seemingly water down the fantasy value of all running backs involved.

The Houston Texans traded WR DeVier Posey to the New York Jets during Round 3 of the NFL Draft Friday, May 1. The Texans received the No. 70 overall pick, while the Jets get the No. 82 overall selection, as well as a fifth-round pick (No. 152) and a seventh-round pick (No. 229).
Fantasy Tip: Posey was unable to do much in Houston, but now he gets a chance at a clean slate in New York. He isn't someone who should be on the fantasy radar right now, but he has a lot less competition at the receiver position in Gotham.

Fantasy Tip: Smith is an explosive, down-the-field home run hitter on the football field, as the Jets look to beef up their receiving corps. New York also traded for Brandon Marshall in the offseason and have Eric Decker and Jeremy Kerley on the depth chart, though. Smith might make more of an impact in his rookie year on special teams, and his contributions in the passing game will likely be very inconsistent to start. Until Geno Smith shows us more inside the pocket, too, Devin Smith is merely a late-round flyer in deep leagues in his rookie year.

New York Jets DE Leonard Williams said he would prefer to play defensive end but is willing to play anywhere the team wants. "I'm willing to play wherever they want me to play, because being versatile at USC, it allows me to fit in a lot of different spots," Williams said. "I'd prefer to play defensive end, but also… in a lot of sub-packages, I can move around and find spots to get to the quarterback."
