Thu, 21 May 2015 10:13:22 -0700

New York Giants OT Justin Pugh, who has been the starting right tackle for the last two years, could move to the left side with OT William Beatty (pectoral) out for at least the first half of next season. However, the Giants have also been preparing to move Pugh inside to guard this offseason. OT Ereck Flowers, the team's No. 9 overall pick is raw but has left tackle potential.

Giants | NYG receivers catch endorsement

Wed, 20 May 2015 18:18:20 -0700

New York Giants WRs Odell Beckham Jr., Victor Cruz and Rueben Randle all received strong endorsements from ex-Giants WR Stephen Baker Tuesday, May 19. "I think [the Giants offense] will be a matchup nightmare, and I love the diversity of the receivers," said Baker. "You've got little Cruz, who can shake and bake in the middle, then you've got Beckham on the outside, who's just explosive, and then you have Randle, I consider him a smooth receiver, when he catches a pass, he just looks smooth. I like him as a third down possession-type guy," Baker said.

Fantasy Tip: With the vast majority of fantasy owners enamored by Beckham Jr., Cruz and Randle will be available at huge discounts following disappointing seasons. Beckham Jr. will be drawing the focus of opposing defenses, leaving plenty of room for his fellow wideouts to operate.

Giants | Victor Cruz not rushing rehab

Wed, 13 May 2015 09:28:54 -0700

New York Giants WR Victor Cruz (knee) said he will not rush his rehab in order to participate in offseason workouts and minicamps. Cruz has a good chance to be ready for training camp. He is feeling good and has not reported swelling in the knee even after workouts.

Fantasy Tip: Cruz does not have to participate in offseason workouts, so he likely is working on being ready for camp. Cruz could be eased back into the lineup early in the season but should still have a solid role as one of the top three receivers. Owners could consider Cruz as a No. 3 receiver in drafts next season.

Giants | Victor Cruz begins making cuts

Wed, 13 May 2015 06:25:42 -0700

Updating previous reports, New York Giants WR Victor Cruz (knee) has begun making cuts in his routes, and he labeled himself about 75-80% in his recovery from a torn patellar tendon.

Fantasy Tip: Cruz appears to be on track for the start of the season, but the type of injury he suffered is one that is difficult to return from. You're probably looking at a WR3 flyer with significant risk and solid reward with Cruz.

Giants | Victor Cruz won't practice in minicamp

Tue, 12 May 2015 16:06:29 -0700

New York Giants WR Victor Cruz (knee) will not participate in team practices during the Giants' minicamp, but will be doing some of his own rehabilitation work. Cruz has already started running routes as he recovers from a torn patellar tendon.

Fantasy Tip: Cruz seems to steadily be making progress as he attempts to be ready for Week 1 of the 2015 season. Cruz has already said that he believes he'll be ready for the start of the season and that he'll be able to return to pre-injury form. If he is healthy, he'll still have Odell Beckham Jr. and Rueben Randle to contend with in the Giants' offense. He has WR2 potential if he can stay on the field and play the way he did before the injury.
