Fantasy Tip: Bears fans who wish Gould were still their kicker are likely kicking themselves right now. By signing Gould, the Giants have sent a message that PK Josh Brown's domestic violence situation could be pretty serious. Gould can be a reliable kicker, but it may be safe to give him a week or two to get acclimated.

Fantasy Tip: The team will need to sign another kicker before the Sunday game, but coach Ben McAdoo mentioned WR Odell Beckham Jr. as a possibility. However serious that might be, you need to bench Brown as this will go on for a while.

New York Giants OT Marshall Newhouse (calf) FS Nat Berhe (concussion and FS Darian Thompson (foot) did not practice Thursday, Oct. 20. CB Eli Apple (groin), LS Zak DeOssie (ankle), LB Keenan Robinson (knee) and CB Trevin Wade (ankle) were limited. DE Olivier Vernon (wrist) fully participated.

Fantasy Tip: Jennings has been a disappointment even when he's been healthy this year, but he should still be the Giants' primary running back in Week 7. The Los Angeles Rams have been mediocre against the run in 2016, but Jennings isn't more than a low-end RB2 or flex for this week.

Fantasy Tip: A limited practice is certainly better than not practicing. Beckham is an every-week starter and about as matchup-proof a player as there is in the NFL. That being said, don't expect close to the numbers he put up in a breakout game last week (222 yards, two touchdowns). He's still easily a WR1 though.

Fantasy Tip: Beckham has missed the first two days of practice this week, so owners will need to see if he can practice Friday, Oct. 21. Beckham could be a game-time decision for Week 7 but should be in all starting lineups if he is active for the game.

New York Giants LS Zak DeOssie (ankle), OT Marshall Newhouse (calf) and FS Darian Thompson (foot) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 19. CB Eli Apple (groin), FS Nat Berhe (concussion), LB Keenan Robinson (knee) and CB Trevin Wade (ankle) were limited during practice, while DE Olivier Vernon (wrist) fully participated in practice.

Fantasy Tip: Jennings was not much of a factor in his first game back from his injury but should receive more touches in Week 7. He can be a No. 2 running back or a flex option this week even though he will be facing a solid Los Angeles Rams defense.

Fantasy Tip: Beckham is considered day-to-day at this point, so owners will know more about his status later in the week. He is one of the better receivers in fantasy football and should be a starting candidate if he is active.

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. (hip) was receiving treatment on his hip Monday, Oct. 17, according to head coach Ben McAdoo. Beckham suffered a hip pointer in Week 6 but was able to return to the game.
Fantasy Tip: While it sounds like just general soreness, it's possible Beckham could be limited in practice this week. For now just be aware of the situation and hope nothing deteriorates with OBJ coming off his best game of the season.

Fantasy Tip: Shepard started the season with 16 grabs for 233 yards and two touchdowns in his first three games, but he has managed just 10 catches for 69 yards and no forays into the end zone over the past three. With rookies, you have growing pains and inconsistency, and Shepard is no different. He remains a solid WR3 in most fantasy leagues, but all the work in the passing game went through Odell Beckham in his one.

Fantasy Tip: Rainey still had eight touches despite the return of Rashad Jennings from injury. Every tailback was bottled up in this one, but Rainey could be worth a look in deeper PPR formats against the Rams in London in Week 7.

Fantasy Tip: The stat line wasn't huge, but the yardage total and receptions were actually season bests. He is only worth a look in the very deepest of fantasy leagues if you're desperate for tight end help.

Fantasy Tip: Jennings might have been dealing with a little bit of rust, but the Giants have struggled to run the ball for most of the season anyway. He'll look to get it going against the Rams in London in Week 7, but for now he isn't worth using in most fantasy leagues until he gets untracked.
