The New York Giants do not know whether and to what extent WR Victor Cruz (knee) will recover from the severe knee injury he suffered last season. He might not be ready for the start of training camp, and if he can go Cruz is expected to be on a somewhat limited program.
Fantasy Tip: Cruz suffered that torn patellar tendon in a prime time game last season, perhaps one of the saddest scene on the field in all of 2014. He is a huge wild card heading into fantasy drafts in 2015. He could return to form, or miss the entire season. No one can say for certain at this point.

Fantasy Tip: If Randle is able to secure a starting job heading into the postseason he wouldn’t be a terrible WR3/4 or flex fantasy play in standard leagues, but be sure to have plenty of depth on hand.

New York Giants WR Preston Parker has worked in the slot, and he could see time in three-receiver sets if WR Victor Cruz (knee) is not ready for the start of the regular season. WRs Dwayne Harris and Kevin Ogletree are also battling for the possible opening.
Fantasy Tip: Parker has been around, and he is reportedly well liked by the coaching staff. If he is able to secure a job he would be worth a look as a WR4 or flex play in standard fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams, but we have a while until this battle plays out.

New York Giants WR Kevin Ogletree has experience working in the slot, and he might be used in three-receiver sets if WR Victor Cruz (knee) is not ready for the beginning of the regular season. WRs Dwayne Harris and Preston Parker could also be in the mix.
Fantasy Tip: Ogletree would have limited fantasy appeal unless he is able to see significant snaps in three-receiver sets. It’s a wait-and-see situation to be determined three months from now. Remember to monitor the situation once preseason games get underway.

New York Giants WR Dwayne Harris has experience playing the slot, and he could be called upon in three-receiver sets if WR Victor Cruz (knee) is unable to make it for the start of the regular season. WRs Kevin Ogletree and Preston Parker are also in the hunt.
Fantasy Tip: Harris is expected to have a roster spot due to his special teams prowess, and if he works as the slot receiver he could be worth a look as a WR4 or flex play in deeper standard fantasy formats.

Fantasy Tip: White is expected to be selected early in the first round of the draft and may be the first receiver selected. White could be a late-round pick in deeper leagues next season since he should have a solid role with his new team.

New York Giants QB Eli Manning feels more comfortable in the offense this season. Last year was the team's first exposure to offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo's new system. "This year will be a much easier transition, knowing that we have been through so much of it already… I feel good about it. I feel that I have a good understanding of it, but there is still room to grow and that is why I try to keep it as fresh in my mind as possible," Manning said.
Fantasy Tip: Manning struggled noticeably in his first season quarterbacking the new offense. Despite the struggles, however, Manning still posted over 4,400 yards and 30 touchdowns. He's a solid QB2 option heading into 2015.

New York Giants RB Shane Vereen gives the Giants something they didn't have last season -- a receiving threat out of the backfield. "I see him in that regard as a pass receiver out of the backfield," head coach Tom Coughlin said. Coughlin added that Vereen can protect the quarterback and is a capable runner.
Fantasy Tip: It appears that Vereen may be used more often than originally thought in New York's offense. The bulk of his fantasy value remains in point-per-reception leagues, though he may not be targeted as much as he was in New England with the Giants' receiving trio of Odell Beckham Jr., Victor Cruz and Rueben Randle. Still, Vereen has RB2 upside in PPR leagues.

New York Giants QB Eli Manning could play out the rest of his contract, but head coach Tom Coughlin didn't sound worried about Manning eventually receiving a contract extension in New York. "I don't see that as being an issue," Coughlin said when asked if the absence of an extension would become a distraction for Manning. "Eli knows he's our guy." The team brass appears willing to let Manning play out the final year of his contract he signed in 2009.
Fantasy Tip: There isn't much that stands out about Manning for fantasy owners, but he has been durable, playing a full 16 games in each of the last 10 seasons. After a rough 2013 season that saw him throw 18 touchdowns and 27 interceptions, he bounced back nicely in 2014 to throw for 30 TDs and 4,410 yards. Still, Manning profiles more as a decent QB2 in all formats.
