Coughlin said it's no different than New England Patriots QB Tom Brady telling a crowd at a pep rally that he hopes to have a bigger crowd at a party after the Super Bowl. "I don't," Coughlin said when asked if he has a problem with the bravado coming from his players. "I know there have been one or two quotes out there. But to be honest with you, I don't know that any one of them have been any different than Tom Brady's." "Two years ago, I was told I might never walk again," Herzlich posted on his official Twitter page. "Just WALKED off plane in Indy to play in (the Super Bowl). Take that (expletive) cancer." Herzlich had surgery in November 2009 to put a rod through his femur, and he was told he was never going to walk again. However, he returned to the Boston College football team in 2010 for his senior season, and he was an undrafted free agent addition by the Giants last summer. It's not sore or anything," Nicks said. "The rest helped out a lot with just my shoulder and just my body in general. I wouldn't miss (the Super Bowl) for anything." "I don't know what is going to happen after this game on Sunday," Umenyiora said Tuesday, Jan. 31. "We'll see." Umenyiora has one year remaining on his contract at just under $4 million left. He held out of training camp for a new contract or to be traded to a team that would be willing to re-do his deal. Eventually, he ended his holdout and returned to play for his current contract. "I'm sure something is going to get worked out and things will be fine. I am playing in the Super Bowl for the New York Giants. And if that is the way it is, there is nothing I can do. I am trying to do as best I can to help this team win." Jacobs also said Burress would like to return to the Giants next year. "I don't see him back with the Jets next year at all," said Jacobs, who speaks with Burress regularly. "I don't know what he's thinking, but I don't see that. They've got a lot of things going on over there, and I don't know if he wants to be part of that."
