Fantasy Tip: Cruz is working his way back from a serious injury, so owners should monitor his rehab over the offseason. Cruz will be a risky option in drafts next season but could be an option in the middle to late rounds if he is able to return from the injury.

New York Giants DE Jason Pierre-Paul wasn't present for the beginning of the team's voluntary offseason workout program Monday, April 20. Pierre-Paul had the franchise tag placed on him earlier this season, but he has yet to sign the the one-year deal that would pay him $14.8 million for the 2015 season. New York Giants QB Eli Manning is comfortable playing in the final year of his contract, despite not having an extension past this season. Manning said his focus is on football and that he doesn't get too focused on his contract. "The way I look at it, I have one more year and I'm going to play that year and go from there."
Fantasy Tip: Manning seemed to struggle last year in new offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo's offense. He still put up 4,410 yards and 30 touchdowns, however, so he could see similar or better numbers with another offseason of the system under his belt.

Purdue RB Akeem Hunt is visiting the New York Giants Monday, April 20. Hunt had a 4.37-second showing in the 40-yard dash at his Pro Day workout. He had a 37.5-inch vertical leap, a 3.96 short shuttle and a 10-2 broad jump. He's projected as a potential fourth-round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.

The New York Giants do not know whether and to what extent WR Victor Cruz (knee) will recover from the severe knee injury he suffered last season. He might not be ready for the start of training camp, and if he can go Cruz is expected to be on a somewhat limited program.
Fantasy Tip: Cruz suffered that torn patellar tendon in a prime time game last season, perhaps one of the saddest scene on the field in all of 2014. He is a huge wild card heading into fantasy drafts in 2015. He could return to form, or miss the entire season. No one can say for certain at this point.

Fantasy Tip: If Randle is able to secure a starting job heading into the postseason he wouldn’t be a terrible WR3/4 or flex fantasy play in standard leagues, but be sure to have plenty of depth on hand.

New York Giants WR Preston Parker has worked in the slot, and he could see time in three-receiver sets if WR Victor Cruz (knee) is not ready for the start of the regular season. WRs Dwayne Harris and Kevin Ogletree are also battling for the possible opening.
Fantasy Tip: Parker has been around, and he is reportedly well liked by the coaching staff. If he is able to secure a job he would be worth a look as a WR4 or flex play in standard fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams, but we have a while until this battle plays out.
