New York Giants DE Jason Pierre-Paul (finger) has not reported to training camp as he continues to rehabilitate from a finger injury, much to the dismay of owner John Mara. Mara said he's disappointed Pierre-Paul has not shown up, adding that the Giants have a solid training staff that could help Pierre-Paul and he would be able to learn the new defense.

New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. (hamstring) will be eased into training camp as he continues to nurse a hamstring injury. Beckham recently said the hamstring feels better than it did earlier this offseason.
Fantasy Tip: The Giants don't want Beckham missing the first part of the season again, or any part for that matter. Beckham is arguably the Giants' most important player, so he'll have as much time as he needs to get back to full strength. He has top-tier WR1 potential gain in 2015.

New York Giants WR Victor Cruz (knee) will be eased into training camp as he keeps recovering from a torn patellar tendon. Teammate CB Prince Amukamara recently said Cruz has looked faster than he was before the injury, however.
Fantasy Tip: It's smart of the Giants to bring Cruz back slowly. If Cruz can get back to the level he played at before the injury, he should be able to surprise some people. It would be safer to draft him as a low-end WR3 or WR4, however, in case he aggravates the injury.

Free-agent OT Jake Long (Rams) left his visit with the New York Giants Wednesday, July 29, without a deal. It was his second visit with the team without a pact. He is believed to have checked out medically and went through an on-field workout for the team, according to a person with knowledge of the visit.

New York Giants DE Jason Pierre-Paul (finger) can be placed on the Non-Football Injury list if/when he signs his franchise tender. Owner John Mara said the team would like to see Pierre-Paul before anything is decided, however.

New York Giants WR Victor Cruz (knee) is supposedly faster now than he was before he tore his patellar tendon last season, according to teammate CB Prince Amukamara. Amukamara said Cruz looked fabulous when they trained together for a day earlier this offseason. Cruz is still recovering from the injury, but he is expected to be ready by training camp.
Fantasy Tip: Of course, it will take Cruz playing in a game that counts for Amukamara's words to come to fruition. If Cruz is fully healed and faster, he could be a big steal in fantasy drafts. There are a few mouths to feed in New York, however, with Odell Beckham Jr., Cruz, Rueben Randle and Shane Vereen, among others. It's safer to draft Cruz as a WR4, but he could easily outperform his average draft position if he stays on the field.
