Fantasy Tip: Cruz ($3,300, 6.6% of cap) is likely to miss multiple weeks with the injury. Rueben Randle ($3,600, 7.2% of cap) should continue to see more chances but has a tough matchup against the Buffalo Bills this week. He's a weak flex option on FantasyScore.

New York Giants RB Shane Vereen will likely be used to line up at wide receiver in Week 4 against the Buffalo Bills. "Yeah, it's all hands on deck. We'll use him, anybody we can. We need 11. So we'll play with 11 healthy bodies if that's all we have," offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo said. "The guys that can catch the ball the best we'll play with on the perimeter."
Fantasy Tip: Vereen ($4,400, 8.8% of cap) could come at a good value on FantasyScore, but the risk is that he doesn't run the ball as much. The Giants are extremely thin at receiver and tight end, and Vereen could serve as their pseudo-WR3.

Free-agent WR Wes Welker (Broncos) was "quick" and impressive during his workout with the New York Giants earlier this week, according to head coach Tom Coughlin. Coughlin said Welker is healthy and could be signed.

New York Giants WR Victor Cruz (calf), who has already been ruled out for Week 4 after suffering a setback in practice Wednesday, Sept. 30, will go for another MRI exam. There is no timetable for Cruz's return.
Fantasy Tip: You'll need to stay patient if you own Cruz ($3,300, 6.6% of cap) if you own him in traditional leagues. Don't expect him to immediately contribute when he returns, either. In the meantime on FantasyScore, both Odell Beckham Jr. ($8,300, 16.6% of cap) and Rueben Randle ($3,600, 7.2% of cap) will continue to see plenty of looks from Eli Manning and are acceptable picks. Beckham will likely be a popular weekly selection all season long.

Fantasy Tip: Rueben Randle ($3,600, 7.2% of cap) is coming off a 7-116-1 line in Week 3, but he faces a tough Buffalo defense in Week 4. He's still in the area of a low-priced flex consideration on FantasyScore.

Fantasy Tip: Randle ($3,600, 7.2% of cap) will remain in line for a healthy amount of targets at a cut-rate price in FantasyScore.

New York Giants TE Jerome Cunningham (knee) and TE Daniel Fells (ankle) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 30.
