Fantasy Tip: Spiller ($4,700, 9.4% of cap) has received only two carries so far this season but probably will receive more as the season goes on. Spiller has been more involved in the passing game and likely has more value in point-per-reception leagues.

Fantasy Tip: We still don't know how Brees ($7,600, 15.2% of cap) will look in game action. He could still be a little rusty. He does play better at home, though, so he's at least worth consideration despite the recent injury.

New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees (shoulder) is not expected to be limited to shorter throws if he returns in Week 4 against the Dallas Cowboys. Head coach Sean Payton insisted Brees wouldn't play if he didn't have the strength and functionality needed to make every throw necessary. Brees is listed as probable for the game. However, the Saints have just three passing plays of 25 yards or more this year after three games.
Fantasy Tip: The fact remains that Brees ($7,600, 15.2% of cap) and the offense haven't clicked at all this year. Until we see that happen he's riskier than usual for FantasyScore gamers, especially coming off a week that he missed due to injury.

Fantasy Tip: With Drew Brees (shoulder) coming back for the Saints, FantasyScore gamers should feel much more comfortable going with Cooks ($6,400, 12.8% of cap) in this one. He's had at least seven targets in each game so far and has a healthy floor in point-per-reception contests like FantasyScore.

Fantasy Tip: Injury concerns remain around Brees ($7,600, 15.2% of cap) heading into the Sunday night game, but it looks like he'll play. Can he make all the necessary throws? Dallas has kept opposing QBs under check for the most part to start the year, and many fantasy gamers probably will be hesitant to pay up for Brees in his first game back, with good reason.

New Orleans Saints OG Jahri Evans (knee) is out for Week 4 against the Dallas Cowboys. S Jairus Byrd (knee), LB Dannell Ellerbe (toe), CB Keenan Lewis (hip) and DE Cameron Jordan (back) are probable. Evans did not practice Friday, Oct. 2. Byrd, Ellerbe and Lewis were limited, while Jordan practiced in full.

Fantasy Tip: Brees ($7,600, 15.2% of cap) is a shaky play against the Dallas Cowboys on FantasyScore this week.

Fantasy Tip: Cooks ($6,400, 12.8% of cap) should be able to play if he doesn't suffer a setback this weekend. If Drew Brees doesn't play, Cooks' value will take a little bit of a hit against the Dallas Cowboys. There is better value at wide receiver on FantasyScore for Week 4.

Fantasy Tip: It had previously been reported that Brees ($7,600, 15.2% of cap) would have a chance to play if he didn't feel sore. If he does play, he may not throw as much as he does when he's fully healthy. At his fairly high price on FantasyScore, there's a good amount of risk involved.

New Orleans Saints TE Michael Hoomanawanui could play in Week 4, but if not, then he'll play in Week 5, according to head coach Sean Payton. Hoomanawanui will have a limited workout Thursday, Oct. 1, and film study.

Fantasy Tip: Brees ($7,600, 15.2% of cap) hasn't shown enough to be a strong choice on FantasyScore this week against the Dallas Cowboys. Use him at your own risk.
