Updating a previous item, New England Patriots LB Dont'a Hightower (knee) is believed to be suffering from a medial collateral ligament sprain in his knee, according to a source. These types of injuries typically aren't season-ending, but he would likely be forced to sit out a few weeks.

Fantasy Tip: What looked like a pretty serious injury is now turning out to be an ailment that might only keep Gronk out for a week, if that. Keep an eye on his status for practice this week, but consider him a risky investment against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 13.

Fantasy Tip: Gronk and the Pats will have the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 13. The team can afford to be cautious with him, but it sounds like he's destined for a questionable status.

Updating a previous report, New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (knee) will have an MRI on his right knee. According to sources, the injury is not considered as bad as it looked in the fourth quarter of the Week 12 game against the Denver Broncos.
Fantasy Tip: The last time we saw Gronk he was writhing around in pain in the snow, but he was carted off to the locked room and apparently was able to walk. If he is forced to miss time, Scott Chandler would be a popular pick-up in fantasy.

Fantasy Tip: Chandler is a player who is worth watching in future weeks. He would be a huge cog in the New England offense is Rob Gronkowski is forced to miss games due to the knee injury he suffered in the fourth quarter.

Fantasy Tip: Bolden was lining up in five receiver sets in the slot, and he was basically trying his best to make up for the loss of Danny Amendola and Julian Edelman. He did a good job, and might be an attractive and cheap FantasyScore option going forward.

Fantasy Tip: Brady's performance was especially impressive considering he was without Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola due to injury, and he lost Rob Gronkowski in the fourth quarter but still was able to force overtime. In addition, the Broncos are one of the best pass defenses in the league, so Brady remains a solid FantasyScore option even with a bare cupboard.

New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (knee) left the Week 12 game against the Denver Broncos late in the fourth quarter after being hit low on an incompletion. He was writhing around in pain after the contact, and was down for several minutes. He was carted off, as they worked on his right knee or leg.
Fantasy Tip: Gronkowski appeared to be in tremendous pain, and on a day when Jimmy Graham was already lost for the season, the fantasy pool appears to be losing another option.

New England Patriots WR Danny Amendola (knee), CB Justin Coleman (hand), LB Jamie Collins (illness), WR Julian Edelman (foot), DL Trey Flowers, S Jordan Richards and TE Michael Williams (knee) were inactive for the Week 12 game against the Denver Broncos.

Fantasy Tip: As expected, Amendola is on the shelf. That leaves Brandon LaFell as the top wideout with Keshawn Martin and Chris Harper also in the mix.

Fantasy Tip: Martin ($2,000, 4.0% of cap) hasn't been active since Week 6 and only has six receptions for 95 yards and a touchdown this season. He can be ignored in FantasyScore.
