New England Patriots RB Dion Lewis is facing a Dallas Cowboys defense that has surrendered 333 receiving yards to opposing running backs this year -- second most in the league behind the Atlanta Falcons (365 receiving yards to running backs).
Fantasy Tip: Lewis has been possibly the biggest pleasant surprise in fantasy football so far this year. He has been used frequently in the passing game, giving him added value in PPR leagues. Lewis ($5,700, 11.4% of cap) is a great investment in Week 5 on FantasyScore.

New England Patriots RB Dion Lewis signed a two-year extension through the 2017 season Thursday, Oct. 8. Lewis has $800,000 salaries in 2016 and 2017 and received a $600,000 signing bonus. He can earn $1.8 million in incentives in 2016-17.
Fantasy Tip: Lewis ($5,700, 11.4% of cap) faces a leaky Dallas Cowboys run defense this week and is a solid RB2 on FantasyScore.

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady is 3-0 in his career against the Dallas Cowboys and 73-for-121 (.603 completion percentage) for 889 yards, seven touchdowns, two interceptions and a passer rating of 95.4. Brady and the Pats face Dallas in Week 5.
Fantasy Tip: While the Cowboys defense has held their own against opposing quarterbacks in terms of fantasy points allowed this year, Brady ($8,800, 17.6% of cap) is elite and on fire this season. He continues to be worth paying up for on FantasyScore.

The New England Patriots have rotated their offensive line combinations very frequently through the first three games. The Patriots have shuffled the offensive line since training camp opened in July, though, so they have some experience with it. New England's offense has scored more points (119) through three games than ever before and QB Tom Brady is without an interception. The Patriots have used nine different combinations in 30 possessions to start the year and have used a 10th combination near the goal line that resulted in all three of RB LeGarrette Blount's touchdowns in Week 3. They've used the same combination for three consecutive series just once all year in Week 2. New England didn't use the same group in back-to-back series once in Week 3. "It's not done just randomly. There's a specific reason why we rotate guys when we do, where we rotate them," offensive line coach Dave DeGuglielmo said. "There's a rhyme and reason to everything." Most of the changes have occurred at guard, and C David Andrews is the only player to play every offensive snap this year.

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady's hearing with the NFL involving the league's appeal in the Deflategate case will not take place until 2016. The NFL must file an opening brief by Oct. 26. Brady and his attorneys will have to answer by Dec. 7. The NFL must then reply by Dec. 21. The appeal will then be heard as early as the week of Feb. 1, 2016.
Fantasy Tip: Brady ($8,700, 17.4% of cap) is now essentially locked in to play for the entire 2015 season. He's off to a blazing start and is worth considering every week on FantasyScore, except, of course, this week during their bye, no matter what his price is.

New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman has been targeted 42 times through the first three games of the season, which is the second-highest total in the league. Edelman has caught 71% of his targets for 30 receptions.
Fantasy Tip: Continue to view Edelman ($7,500, 15.0% of cap) as a high-end option at FantasyScore and in PPR formats, but you'll have to wait until Week 5 to utilize him with the Patriots on a bye this week. Expect the Dallas Cowboys to have trouble containing Edelman, and he is a safe bet to return WR1 numbers in Week 5.
