Fantasy Tip: Lewis will probably take it easy leading up to the regular season. New England is good about not taking any unnecessary risks, except for when it comes to air pressure in footballs, of course. If Lewis is at full health before the season starts, he'll be a low-end RB1 to high-end RB2 consideration in PPR formats.

Fantasy Tip: Edelman avoided a serious injury, but we don't really know just how much he'll be able to practice yet. He probably won't miss the start of the regular season, but an eye should be kept on his progress throughout training camp and preseason. Edelman is a borderline WR1 in PPR leagues.

New England Patriots WR Chris Hogan is likely to see extended reps with QBs Tom Brady and Jimmy Garoppolo with WRs Danny Amendola (ankle, knee) and Julian Edelman (foot) on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list.
Fantasy Tip: Hogan has a chance in training camp and the preseason, but when the games begin for real he will likely be nothing more than a WR4/5 or flex option in fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams.

New England Patriots RB LeGarrette Blount (hip), who missed all of the spring session due to a hip injury, was not placed on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list and appears ready for training camp.
Fantasy Tip: Blount might be fighting for his roster spot in training camp and the preseason. If he can make the roster he is a decent RB4 or RB5 for depth, but avoid him outside of the later rounds in most fantasy leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Amendola has had trouble staying on the field throughout his career and is an untrustworthy fantasy football commodity. Leave him to the waiver wire in standard leagues. Keep an eye on Edelman's progress this fall, but if he's ready for Week 1, he should be firmly in WR2 territory with more intrigue in PPR leagues. Despite a strong season for Lewis in 2015 before his injury, his injury makes him extremely risky. Not to mention the fact he's never had more than 50 carries in a season in the NFL. He's running back depth in deeper leagues and could be a flex option in certain weeks in PPR formats.

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady will be prohibited from engaging in any football-related activities or discussions during the course of his four-game suspension, even if he is away from the team facility, according to NFL vice president of communications Brian McCarthy. The ban also prohibits Brady from attending games and practices as a spectator and receiving game and practice film from club personnel.
Fantasy Tip: Brady is still expected to see a good deal of repetitions with the first-team offense during training camp before his suspension goes into effect Sept. 3, and he won't rejoin the Patriots until Oct. 3, prior to the team's Week 5 game against the Cleveland Browns. The 38-year-old is still capable of putting up solid numbers and should be viewed as a midrange option at the position, although he could remain on the draft board later than normal due to the suspension.

Fantasy Tip: Blount has RB5 luster in fantasy, but the Patriots tend to feature different running backs in different matchups. He has had big performances in the past and is worth taking a shot on late.

Fantasy Tip: Garoppolo doesn't have much experience, as he has only played in two regular season games over his two-year career. He'll be more of a cheap daily fantasy play in good matchups for the first four weeks of the season.
