Fantasy Tip: Hogan probably will be active for the game and could see more targets moving forward. He has posted at least 70 yards in two of the last three games but has only two touchdowns on the season. Hogan can be considered a flex option in deeper leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Bennett likely will be active for the game and should have a bigger role in the passing game with Rob Gronkowski out. Bennett has been quiet over the last few weeks but should be considered a No. 1 tight end in all leagues.

New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (foot) has been limited in practice each of the last two days after sitting out Wednesday, Nov. 30, but he is fully expected to play against the Los Angeles Rams despite being listed as questionable on the Week 13 injury report.
Fantasy Tip: In New England, "questionable" is the new probable, and that is particularly the case with Edelman. The Patriots' slot receiver is in position to see another increase in targets following the loss of Rob Gronkowski, so if he isn't already in the low-end WR1 discussion in PPR leagues, he should be now.

Fantasy Tip: Rob Gronkowski's absence would seem to serve as a boost for Bennett's fantasy fortunes, but he may be too injured to take advantage and should be viewed as a TE2. Since his three-touchdown explosion in Week 5, Bennett has scored double-digit fantasy points in PPR only once and failed to find the end zone. Dion Lewis, James White and Malcolm Mitchell appear to be much better bets to see more targets moving forward.

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady (knee) has been limited in practice each of the last two days after sitting out Wednesday, Nov. 30, but he is fully expected to play against the Los Angeles Rams despite being listed as questionable on the Week 13 injury report.
Fantasy Tip: Brady's fantasy stock takes a hit with Rob Gronkowski out, but the Patriots still have more than enough weapons to keep their quarterback among the elite plays in fantasy most weeks, which he should be again this weekend.

Fantasy Tip: Grab Martellus Bennett where available. He should be a TE1 the rest of the way.

Fantasy Tip: Bennett missed practice on Wednesday, but this news indicates he'll be good to go for Week 13. With Rob Gronkowski (back) out indefinitely, there will be nothing preventing Bennett from serving as a TE1 on a weekly basis to close out the 2016 season. He should be in all lineups.

Fantasy Tip: Hogan has come on in recent weeks to become a factor in New England's high-octane offense, so consider him in the FLEX conversation. With Rob Gronkowski (back) out indefinitely, Hogan has a better chance at sustaining that value.

New England Patriots Ss Nate Ebner (concussion), Jordan Richards (knee) and DT Woodrow Hamilton (illness) did not participate in practice Thursday, Dec. 1. Meanwhile, WR Matthew Slater (foot) and DE Trey Flowers (shin) were limited.

Fantasy Tip: He'll be fine for Week 13. With Rob Gronkowski (back) out indefinitely, Edelman's already-high stock gets a slight boost, as he may see even more looks than usual. He's definitely a WR1.
Thu, 01 Dec 2016 17:14:16 -0800
Fantasy Tip: Brady missed practice on Wednesday, but this session should ensure he suits up on Sunday versus the Rams. As is always the case, the future Hall-of-Famer will be one of the top QB1 options on the board.

New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (back) suffered a herniated disc during the team's Week 13 game and will need to undergo surgery Friday, Dec. 2, according to a source. There is no timetable for his return.
Fantasy Tip: Gronkowski likely will miss the rest of the season because of the injury. Fantasy owners will need to find other options to use in their starting lineups and can drop Gronkowski if they need the roster space. Martellus Bennett should have a bigger role in the Patriots' passing game and will be a No. 1 tight end moving forward.

New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (back) was unable to attend an event Tuesday, Nov. 29, at the Boston Children's Hospital due to the recommendation of the team's medical staff, as he continues to recover from a back injury. He has been cleared to attend a separate event later in the week, however.
Fantasy Tip: It's uncertain if Gronk will be able to practice in full at any point this week, but being cleared for an outside event after previous restrictions sounds like a step forward. It will be a game-time decision, most likely, for the stud fantasy option who has a propensity for injury.

Fantasy Tip: Edelman is expected to be ready to face the Los Angeles Rams in Week 13 barring any setbacks. He is a stud in PPR fantasy formats for his high rate of catches, as he is working on a three-game streak with at least seven grabs and 77 yards.
