Fantasy Tip: Peterson should be avoided in FantasyScore for the foreseeable future. Matt Asiata is an excellent value this week with a price of $3,700 (7.40% of cap) in FantasyScore.

Fantasy Tip: Stay tuned for the severity of his new injury, but the fact that he was limited early in the week is a good sign that he'll be fine for Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints and their atrocious defense. Rudolph ($6,600) is a decent FantasyScore play.

Updating a previous report, Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson's next court date is Oct. 8, but it could be several months before the case would go to trial. His placement on the Exempt/Commissioner's Permission list bars him from all team activities. The team plans to keep him on the list until his child abuse case is resolved.

Fantasy Tip: Peterson should be held on to for the time being, but there's a possibility his season could be over. Matt Asiata is a good RB3 in the interim and an excellent bargain buy this week at New Orleans. He's priced at $3,700 (7.4% of your cap) on FantasyScore.

Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson doesn't have the support of Minnesota governor Mark Dayton. Dayton thinks the Vikings should suspend Peterson after the team announced he's expected to play in Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints. Peterson was indicted Friday, Sept. 12, on charges of negligent or reckless injury to a child, and he sat out in Week 2.

The investigation found that Peterson did not strike the 4-year-old boy, but he accidentally bumped his head on a carseat while being punished.
Fantasy Tip: Peterson is priced at $8,600 (17.2% of your cap) on FantasyScore as a solid RB1 in Week 3.

Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson is accused of injuring another son while disciplining the 4-year-old, according to new allegations Monday, Sept. 15. The 4-year-old is by a different mother than the alleged victim in the Montgomery County case, in which Peterson is charged with felony injury to a child. The latest incident allegedly occurred last June, while the boy, who lives out of state, was visiting Peterson at his gated home in Texas.
Fantasy Tip: Peterson was deactivated in Week 2, and it's uncertain if the latest incident will bring more punishment for the running back. Steer clear of Peterson in FantasyScore leagues until this situation becomes clearer.

Fantasy Tip: Peterson is already playing in Week 3, but could miss more time if he is indicted for injuring his son.
