Fantasy Tip: Cook should have a role in the offense as a rookie even though the team has Latavius Murray and Jerick McKinnon on the roster. Cook can be a No. 4 running back in drafts in 2017 and should be a popular pick in keeper leagues since he has a chance to be at least a No. 2 running back in upcoming years.

Minnesota Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater (knee) is unlikely to have his fifth-year option exercised by the May 2 deadline, according to sources. The Vikings could still re-sign Bridgewater, but they do not appear willing to guarantee his 2018 salary for north of $11 million for injury when the quarterback is still trying to make it back from a catastrophic knee injury that has derailed other NFL players' careers.
Fantasy Tip: Bridgewater is probably not someone you can expect to see the first half of the season, if at all in 2017.

Minnesota Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater (knee) remains without a timetable as he continues to recover from a torn anterior cruciate ligament and dislocated knee. General manager Rick Spielman did say that Bridgewater had a great first week of offseason activities.
Fantasy Tip: Whether or not Bridgewater will be ready for Week 1 of the 2017 season remains to be seen, but he may not even start even if he is ready. That being said, neither Sam Bradford nor Bridgewater should be drafted as QB1.

Minnesota Vikings WR Stefon Diggs (hip) blames himself for the health issues he went through last year. He said he's taking steps this offseason to try to prevent himself from missing time again this year after missing three games in 2016.
Fantasy Tip: Diggs will remain the Vikings' No. 1 wide receiver even with the breakout season Adam Thielen had. Health is a concern, though, as Diggs has missed three games in each of his first two seasons. He has WR2 potential, but the poor health makes him more of a WR3 option.

Fantasy Tip: We don't even know who will be starting for Minnesota next season between Bradford and Teddy Bridgewater. It would be unwise for the Vikings to give an expensive extension to Bradford at this point as he could merely be their backup. Whoever starts will be in backup fantasy quarterback territory anyway.

Fantasy Tip: Murray doesn't have a lot to fend off for touches in Minnesota, and if he can stay healthy, he's a solid RB2 option in fantasy.

Fantasy Tip: Treadwell was a non-factor as a rookie. Injuries didn't help, and it sounds like he could need more time to really hit his stride. He is still a valuable piece in dynasty formats, but he is late-round material in redraft leagues.

Minnesota Vikings QB Case Keenum's one-year, $2 million contract includes $1 million guaranteed, split up into a $250,000 signing bonus and $750,000 guaranteed base salary. He can also earn $750,000 in roster bonuses.
