Fantasy Tip: Rudolph's status for Week 16 is uncertain because of the injuries, so owners should continue to watch the situation. Rudolph has not put up great numbers since coming back from his hernia surgery. Rudolph costs $5,300 on FantasyScore, but owners should consider using another option at the position.

Fantasy Tip: Asiata ($4,600) gains some value with Jerick McKinnon out for the year. Also, Asiata should be a nice value play at FantasyScore this week. He's had double-digit carries in each of the last three weeks, and the Miami Dolphins have been very vulnerable on the ground of late.

Fantasy Tip: Jennings ($5,200), although not a sexy FantasyScore selection, could be an excellent under-the-radar play against the Miami Dolphins, who have surrendered 29.73 fantasy points per game in the last four weeks.

Fantasy Tip: Rudolph ($5,300) probably won't be fully healthy for the final two games of the season, but the fact that he caught seven passes (seven targets) for 69 yards last week should be noted. He's a midrange tight end option at FantasyScore this week against the Miami Dolphins.

Updating previous reports, Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson was told by executive vice president of football operations Troy Vincent that he would serve a two-game suspension for violating the personal conduct policy, instead of missing the entire season. Peterson's camp has an audio recording of the exchange that took place six days before he was suspended for the season.
Fantasy Tip: Peterson can be dropped in all formats after his suspension was upheld. He turns 30 in March and will likely have some fantasy uncertainty in next year's drafts. He has been a machine throughout his career, and he could return with a vengeance or he could begin his inevitable decline.

Fantasy Tip: Patterson has not done much this season, so owners should avoid using him on FantasyScore even though he only costs $3,000.

Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson said he considered retirement from the NFL because he is disappointed with the disciplinary system. "I've considered retiring from the NFL," Peterson said. "I still made $8 million dollars this year. I've thought about getting back into the real estate (business in Texas) I'm already in. That's something I've been interested in, something I'm involved in. I've thought about getting back into that. I've thought about going after the Olympics -- you only live once. It might be time for me to pursue that, as well. I love playing football, don't get me wrong, but this situation is deeper than that. For me, it's like, 'Why should I continue to be a part of an organization or a business that handles players the way they do? Making money off the field anyway, why not continue to pursue that (Olympic) dream and pursue other dreams and hang up the cleats?'"
Fantasy Tip: It seems like a long shot that Peterson would retire to pursue other interests at this point, but this will be a big story to watch as the offseason moves on.

Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson's appeal of his suspension has been denied by the appointed appeals officer. Peterson likely will be reinstated if he does what he needs to do between now and April 15. Peterson could take his case to federal court.
Fantasy Tip: It looks like Peterson will not be able to play in 2014, so owners that are still holding onto Peterson can drop him in their leagues.
