Dolphins | Jarvis Landry on track to play

Fri, 17 Nov 2017 13:32:56 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry (chest) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 17, and is not on the injury report for Week 11.

Fantasy Tip: Landry has been a popular target for the Dolphins quarterbacks over the last month and has five touchdowns in the last six games. He should be a solid No. 2 receiver in all leagues against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this week.

Dolphins | Kenny Stills misses practice

Fri, 17 Nov 2017 13:25:16 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills (back) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 17, and is listed as questionable for Week 11.

Fantasy Tip: Stills may be a game-time decision for Week 11, so owners will need to check the inactive list to determine his status. He has played well over the last several weeks but will be a risky option because of the injury. Owners will need other options available in case Stills is ruled out.

Dolphins | No practice for Kenny Stills on Friday

Fri, 17 Nov 2017 10:16:15 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills (back) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 17.

Fantasy Tip: Stills hurt his back Thursday, so while the injury is not considered serious, he is obviously in a race against the clock to recover to the point where he can feel good about playing in Week 11. Jarvis Landry and DeVante Parker would expect to see more targets if he cannot go against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Dolphins | Damien Williams to remain involved

Thu, 16 Nov 2017 18:57:26 -0800

Miami Dolphins RB Damien Williams will continue to split carries with RB Kenyan Drake, according to offensive coordinator Clyde Christensen.

Fantasy Tip: Williams has managed just 33 yards on 16 carries the last two games while Drake has rushed for 151 yards and a touchdown on the same number of carries. Although Williams will remain involved, Drake is the only Miami back worth starting right now.

Dolphins | Kenyan Drake stuck in committee

Thu, 16 Nov 2017 18:49:03 -0800

Miami Dolphins RB Kenyan Drake is worthy of more carries, according to offensive coordinator Clyde Christensen, but Christensen said the formula with Drake and RB Damien Williams will not change.

Fantasy Tip: Although Drake has been the better runner by a wide margin, both he and Williams have received 16 carries each over the last two games. Splitting carries limits Drake's ceiling, but he has done more than enough with his touches to be considered a flex play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 11.

Dolphins | DeVante Parker not focused?

Thu, 16 Nov 2017 18:20:14 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker is not playing with the same "edge" mentally since returning from an ankle injury, according to offensive coordinator Clyde Christensen. "We have to get him right back to that level," Christensen said. "He still could do some great things before this year is over and he could make it into a heck of a season."

Fantasy Tip: Parker has actually put up decent numbers, but injuries have limited him to five games. He could be a WR3 in a favorable matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 11, but his week-to-week availability is a constant concern.

Thomas (knee) were limited during practice. OG Jermon Bushrod (shoulder), DE William Hayes (knee), LB Mike Hull (ankle, shoulder) and SS Reshad Jones (groin, shoulder) fully participated in practice.

Dolphins | Jarvis Landry takes part in practice

Thu, 16 Nov 2017 14:12:09 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry (chest) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 16.

Fantasy Tip: Landry should be in uniform in Week 11 as long as he does not suffer a setback over the next few days. He has caught five touchdowns in the last six games and has been targeted at least 10 times in seven of the nine games this season. He should be a No. 2 or No. 3 receiver in all fantasy leagues.

Dolphins | Limited practice for Kenny Stills

Thu, 16 Nov 2017 14:10:50 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR Kenny Stills (back) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 16.

Fantasy Tip: Stills was added to the injury report Thursday, so owners will need to keep an eye on the situation. He has been targeted at least eight times in three of the last four games and has at least 65 yards in each of those games. He could be a flex option in some leagues if he is active for Week 11.

Dolphins | Miami's backfield will remain a committee

Thu, 16 Nov 2017 10:12:08 -0800

Miami Dolphins RBs Kenyan Drake and Damien Williams will continue to split touches, according to offensive coordinator Clyde Christensen.

Fantasy Tip: Drake has earned the lead role in Miami's backfield, but the Dolphins aren't giving it to him yet. Not only is Drake a bigger playmaker, Williams has only averaged 3.1 yards per carry in his career. The former is a solid RB2 play in a great matchup this week. The latter is more of a PPR flex.

Dolphins | Miami's Wednesday injury report

Wed, 15 Nov 2017 12:36:06 -0800

Miami Dolphins DE William Hayes (knee), RB Senorise Perry (knee) and DT Ndamukong Suh (knee) did not practice Wednesday, Nov. 15. CB Bobby McCain (hamstring) and FS Michael X. Thomas (knee) were limited. LB Mike Hull (shoulder, ankle), SS Reshad Jones (groin, shoulder) and OG Jermon Bushrod (shoulder) participated fully. The Dolphins did not actually practice; this report is an estimation.

Dolphins | Jarvis Landry has limited practice

Wed, 15 Nov 2017 12:30:16 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry (chest) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Nov. 15. The Dolphins did not actually practice; this status is an estimation.

Fantasy Tip: While Landry does not eat up yardage, he does lead the NFL in catches (61). Assuming he is active, Landry possess low-end WR1 to high-end WR2 PPR value in a great matchup versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Dolphins | Jay Cutler struggling with deep ball

Tue, 14 Nov 2017 12:34:18 -0800

Miami Dolphins QB Jay Cutler is tied for the second worst yards per completion in the NFL (9.0), although he has only played in eight games this year.

Fantasy Tip: Cutler's numbers aren't terrible -- he's thrown 12 touchdowns to six interceptions -- but he has had trouble connecting on the deep ball. He remains a backup fantasy quarterback.

Dolphins | Another multi-TD effort for Jay Cutler

Mon, 13 Nov 2017 22:22:42 -0800

Miami Dolphins QB Jay Cutler logged his fourth straight multi-touchdown effort in the team's Week 10 matchup Monday, Nov. 13, against the Carolina Panthers, throwing for a pair of scores and 213 yards on 22-of-37 passing. He also had one interception.

Fantasy Tip: While Miami's offense has mostly been a disappointment this season in Cutler's first year in South Beach, the former first-round draft pick has actually turned it up as of late, totaling nine touchdowns compared to only three interceptions over his last four games. Given the amount of talent he has by his side, it shouldn't be a surprise to see Cutler finally stepping up, and because of that, he's turned into a fine streaming option.

Dolphins | Fine MNF showing for DeVante Parker

Mon, 13 Nov 2017 22:17:29 -0800

Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker registered six catches on nine targets for 66 yards in the team's Week 10 contest Monday, Nov. 13, versus the Carolina Panthers.

Fantasy Tip: Even while Jarvis Landry continues to be a target hog, Parker still gets a desirable workload, as he's received eight or more targets in all but one of his six games played -- and the one time he didn't was because he left in the first quarter due to an injury last month. Unfortunately, Parker has just one touchdown to show for his efforts, but given how many looks he receives from Jay Cutler, he seems primed to multiply that total down the stretch.
